I've developed a personal relationship with God, but does he want more before he can actually know me?
I just wanted to add something brother, God is omniscient...
He "knew you" before the foundation of the World.
Jeremiah 1:4-5 (King James Version)
"Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I
sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."
And John 15:16 (KJV)
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that
whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
You're saved my friend, thank God!

Good works are for "crowns" that we will throw at his feet. Where they are tested by fire and the ones that remain we will be given rewards for.
It's a heresy to believe we are justified by faith AND works. This is not true. If you have accepted Him as your personal savior you are His. Now,
you and I will never be able to achieve the awards of Biblical saints, but like I always say, I'd rather be a "bum" in heaven than a King on Earth
without Him.
Thankyou for your reply. It means lots. I esspecially like the part about the crowns. Makes me wonder if I'll have any crows to throw. But the parts
that scare me is that it also talks about how a sinner can't get into heaven. But that's why Jesus died on the cross, so the perfect sacrifice could
forgive our sins, right? But also, we have to repent for that to take effect, don't we? So, say I sin, and then I go and have an accident and die. I
never had a chance to repent for that sin. Would I go to hell?
I think that my feeling of un-certainty is probably what is giving me, well, the most un-certainty. What gets me is that they say you will have peace
in your heart if you know you are saved, and I did for the longest time, but ever since I heard about paul washer, and his message, things started to
shake, and I started to question, solely because Paul Washer stated that most Christians will end up in hell for believing Western Christianity. I
have faith in God, but sometimes I think my sin will keep me out. I play violent videogames all the time

No my brother, salvation is for past, present, and future sins. Salvation CANNOT be lost, the simple fact that you feel remorse for you sins is
evidence the Holy Spirit is working inside you.
God punishes us for our sins on Earth, much like our Earthly father punishes us for doing wrong, but you NEVER have to worry about your salvation.
The ONLY unforgivable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit, meaning rejecting the call for Accepting Jesus Christ death as payment for your sins.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5)
"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I
write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more" (Hebrew 10:16-17)
"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might
be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified" (Galatians 2:16)
"But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith" (Galatians 3:11)
"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace" (Galatians 5:5)
"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." (Romans 3:28)
In Ephesians 2:8-10, the Bible teaches that we are not saved because of our good deeds ("not of works, lest anyone should boast"). That is only half
of the story. The same passage also teaches that we are saved for a very specific purpose, namely, to do good works ("created in Christ Jesus to do
good works"). Good works are not the cause, but rather the result (the purpose, the fruit) of salvation. So good works must always accompany true
faith. Yet true faith rests in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and not in the merits of personal works. We are called to believe "in
Christ"!
Both truths - salvation is not by works, but saved people do good works - are emphasized in the Scriptures. Take Titus 3:5-8 for example:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy
Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the
hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be
careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."
The apostle Paul affirms that we are saved is "not by works of righteousness." Yet, he does not conclude that since we're not saved by works, we
should not perform them. On the contrary, he is eager to exhort believers "to be careful to maintain good works."
God cleanses those who believe in His Son from the leprosy of sin, not to sit in laziness, but to employ their hands in doing good.
www.justforcatholics.org...
Have assurance of your salvation by God through the faith you have in your heart is the shed blood of Christ as payment for your sins, ALL of them,
past, present, and future. Admit them to God when you do them and try your best to turn from them.
An evidence of TRUE faith is to be aware when you falter and to make an effort to not do it again. But we are sinners, we do make mistakes from time
to time. Not to worry, even Paul himself lamented that he struggled with a "certain" sin as well.

I just listened to the Paul Washer sermon. And can break it down for you,
He says "Is you life in a process of change?"
Meaning, are you trying your best to live in his word and under his laws? Or are you still just as same as you were before you accepted God's free
gift of salvation?
He does admit that Christians will still stumble, but after stumbles do you repent, ask for forgiveness and return promptly to the straight and
narrow?
This is what you need to ask yourself. If your life "is in the process of change" then you are saved, and you are on a personal walk with Christ.
When the Holy Spirit convicts you you must listen to it and obey that conviction.

Holy Spirit speaks these truths. I pray that everyone will come to Christ, I know many will not accept the gift, but I also know that many seeds will
be planted.
I hope everyone will know that this is spiritual warfare, it began in the garden of Eden, it continues to this day. But you and I know, and others
who have an ear to prophecy that the time is rapidly running out. Commit this time to preparing yourself as much as you can, love God with all you
Soul, mind, and strength, and try to reach as many people as we can before the hourglass runs out.
Thank you again, have assurance in your salvation, and enter the battle with me. When we accepted the free gift of salvation we enlisted in God's
Holy Army that day, and there is a war going on.
May God bless you too!!

Because I believe it will open up a wormhole to another dimension, I also know that biblical prophecy says that the keys to the abyss will be used
and demonic "locusts" will come forth to torture man for 5 months. It's very possible in light of Biblical prophecy and the fact that we are on
the doorstep of the Great Tribulation right now. All prophecies concerning the end have come about, the next piece is the rapture of the church.

May I answer?
The Holy Bible is the ONLY book that is 2/3 prophecy. That can be verified as the only coming from an omniscient God.

If it's all a big lie, when I die I'll never know.
Besides, what harm is done by me living a life where I "love God with all my "heart, soul, and mind" and if I "love my neighbor as myself"?
Nothing, that person is a blessing to those around him. Plus, it is very amazing to have your prayers answered by God.
Also, angels are immortal creatures. They do not die. They all chose sides when Lucifer rebelled. Just the same as you and I have to do on Earth.

Our God is a living God, not a dead god like in other religions. I myself have seen God work in my life, and develop a relationship with him.
Essentially, I can claim all I want about how my God is the real one, but you won't believe me until you experience him for yourself, and trust me,
you won't be let down.
