It is not a conspiracy. It is a drive for profit. The dropping value of the dollar is the impetus for the buyer. As the dollar drops, each unit of gold yields MORE dollars.

It's a joke, isn't it. Grandma at the home, 'I couldn't believe the money I could make on my unused jewelry.
Sharks in the water making a bundle off the economic downturn. I see pawn shop ads way up too.
