I am very pleased to know about the "key" system I nevre realised you guys took it soo seriously. I am very impressed indeed!

Its also good about the redundancy thing and back up in 36 hours Way to go!


However seriously no chance of a "cynanide" tab or self destruct button? to just close our account quickly and remove all personal info, that is not obviously any content on threads, but the info you hold on us?

Well this brings up a question, no matter how much they were to strap you down and tickle your feet, would you spill the beans?

How much tickling could you take?

I feel we deserve to know your sensitivity and tickling threshold as the fate of the Alternative News in most of the world may be based on that one thing alone!

Have you had tickle aversion therapy, or training?

What if they use feathers instead of fingers or god forbid what if they got a Grey to do do a 3 finger shuffle on you?

I doubt there is a man alive who could take much of that?

Indeed I don't know why the entire water Boarding process is not swapped for this much more effective ways of eliciting immediate compliance and response!

Infact I would like to propose a challenge, an exercise for ATS security if you will.

At a time unbeknown to yourself a group of ATS heirachy and Mods will OverlordNap you, bundle you up in a white van, you will awake in a unknown wharehouse, with all dressed in dark suits.

Im sure the Ats community has enough props of Greys out there, and we can then begin the test. If we take about the 1/3 of the time before you crack as a true figure, due to the added stress of a real situation, and actual alien fingers as apposed to plastic ones, well I feel that would be a good yardstick for our defense knowledge and rating?

On the U2U problem, I didn't realize how much I relied on that system for my underground ATS network. Waaa. I want my MTV U2U.

Not sure if this is any thing to do with this shut down, but I keep seeing members come on line with "One of your friends" and they arent! Not that Im saying I dont like them but how can this be, Ive not selected them as a friend so how come its on line that they are

I don't think it's anything to do with this problem.
Has another member got similar user name to you? "green"? I've been stuck with this glitch for about a year. I have a huge list of friends and foes that aren't my list. This is because there's a member called 'agent violet'. It appears to be a glitch in name selection, maybe if this member had an underslash, "violet" wouldn't have been a seperate word. I joined long before this member did. I wish I could have the option of hiding them if it can't be fixed. I did report it when I first noticed it .... esp when it's a feature I'm not personally interested in, and I'm stuck with having it look as if I am .. and have a load of people disliking me ... or do I dislike them?

The U2U Private Message System

Is Now Functioning Again.


However, it has been relaunched with a completely new data structure redesign to prevent future data corruption episodes, as well as enhance overall messaging performance. Which means, none of your old messages have been transfered to the new system.


We're still working on a method to provide temporary access to your old messages, so stay tuned.


Also, the new system will automatically delete all messages more than 45 days old, so please ensure you retain offline versions of anything important. And with this in mind, the quota has been removed for all members.

If just reading you can copy not cut, but when you reply you can cut. I paste mine into html... that puts them in order by date and person for future reference

Yes there are a few members who have green in their name and probably even more that start with Mr so thats probably the problem. I did U2U one of them but never heard a thing which made it appear even stranger to me...I thought maybe these people dont actually exist! Maybe they were aliens.....

Having lost my u2u's from yesterday I can't remember who it was that I was about to ban from the site. Please let me know if it was you. I'd really appreciate it...

I had just happened to grab most of my saved box, at least up to a week ago into Excel. Will be nice to get temporary access to grab those recent ones.

In a rare moment of online expression of the sentimental sort, I have to say that I had u2u's saved from 2004.

I had a lot of attachment to many of those u2u's, so I for one am glad to read that there may be a chance to temporarily access them for copy/pasting...

Though I am pleased as hell now that I don't have to clean out my in box...

I too like you are sentimental especially with U2U's but.....

..you know in a way, Im glad they've gone...reading some of them just made me cry...now I can start a fresh with no tears...

See my U2U to you SO. Can you retrieve what was lost if it was sent to you or do I have to start from scratch. Bleh!

It's just that it involved a link on top of my ususally wordy self and for some reason my right click botton on my mouse has like a 20 second delay, so copy & paste has become a real pain the tush.

P.S. If anyone knows what would cause and how to fix this right click problem, or if you can confirm it's terminal and I just have to get a new one - do tell!

I was shocked to find out about the U2U's... I did not realize it until I saw this thread. I just figured noone loved me anymore...

Also weird thing, I was dreaming about U2us the other day while in a twilight sleep from migraine meds, I dreamed that, well never mind that but I woke wondering why Administration never sends any notices anymore. This makes me realize that it does not matter how people view me or if they U2u me, I belong here, this is U2u validation and being in ATSsinc.

I have GOT to be able to move some info over to my comp off of some of them. Please?

Also what are all the new functions of the U2u system other than endless use and a 45 day limit?

I am always amazed at the heights we here can achieve.
