Tyranny cannot exist without lies; In other words, where there is knowledge & truth, there is freedom. The US Founding Forefathers were well-educated men & they knew this truth from their knowledge, reasoning, experience & studies of history.
"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day." -- Thomas Jefferson
"We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid." -- Benjamin Franklin
"I was bold in the pursuit of knowledge, never fearing to follow truth and reason to whatever results they led, and bearding every authority which stood in their way." -- Thomas Jefferson
"If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." -- Benjamin Franklin
"There is not a truth existing which I fear... or would wish unknown to the whole world." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Truth is certainly a branch of morality and a very important one to society." -- Thomas Jefferson

A few other relevant quotes:
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." -- Hermann Goering, President of the Reichstag, Nazi Party, and Luftwaffe Commander in Chief

“Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes. And armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.
“In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended. Its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force of the people.
“The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war… and in the degeneracy of manners and morals, engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.” -- James Madison, April 20, 1795

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums in war to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, they will offer up all their rights unto the leader and gladly so.
How do I know ? For this is what I have done. And I am Ceasar."

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State." -- Dr. Joseph M. Goebbels

"Terrorism is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death." -- Adolf Hitler

“A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defence against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home…” -- James Madison

"If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." -- James Madison, while a United States Congressman

"To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men." --Abraham Lincoln

Are We Doomed To Be a Police State?

"In a free society, the government's job is simply to protect liberty -- the people do the rest. Let's not give up on a grand experiment that has provided so much for so many. Let's reject the police state." -- Rep. Ron Paul, MD (U.S. House of Representatives, June 27, 2002)

"War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it." -- George Orwell

The problem with current Mainstream Media is that they aid in spreading a tyrant's lies: This becomes possible when you realize how few corporations actually own how many media outlets...Powerful Centralized Government becomes easier to obtain when Powerful Centralized Media exists. In these days, Big Corporations control both.

But initially falling for the tyrant's lies isn't so bad...To continue to fall to more lies is. As can be guessed, with communications technology & military technology as advanced as it is, does the sound of a tyrannical NWO seem so far-fetched?
"Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn." -- Benjamin Franklin
"If all printers were determined not to print anything till they were sure it would offend nobody, there would be very little printed." -- Benjamin Franklin
It might be said that today's MSM shows the truth less so as to not lower their ratings by offending people...Which is why the media is so full of mindless drivel.
"Tricks and treachery are the practice of fools, that don't have brains enough to be honest." -- Benjamin Franklin

For those who still support Bush & his headlong slide into a tyrannical America, perhaps you should look a bit into the lineage of the Bush family:

...consider the 4 generations of the Bush Family and the repeating pattern of behavior that the American people, in their striving to be brave, completely deny, ignore, and by default, embrace.

* George Bush Jr. stands to make billions from the Bush Family oil investments and military-industrial stocks of the Carlisle Group (WWIII).
* George Bush Sr. (son of Prescott), made billions on kickbacks from Sadaam's sale of oil to U.S.
* Prescott Bush made millions doing the financing and banking for Hitler's military-industrial complex (WWII).
* Prescott's Father made millions selling Remington Arms to both sides during WWI.

With all the above in mind, consider the mass psychology in the following statements by Bush Jr. Since 9/11

November 10, 2001 - President "Bushwacker" Bush Speaks THE BIG LIE to United Nations

"We must speak the truth about terror. Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th; malicious lies that attempt to shift the blame away from the terrorists, themselves, away from the guilty. To inflame ethnic hatred is to advance the cause of terror."

And here's Bush Jr. at a recent Address to the Nation at the World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia

"I recently received a letter from a 4th-grade girl that seemed to say it all "I don't know how to feel,' she said, 'sad, mad, angry. It has been different lately. I know the people in New York are scared because of the World Trade Center and all, but if we're scared, we are giving the terrorists all the power.' In the face of this great tragedy, Americans are refusing to give terrorists the power. (Applause.) Our people have responded with courage and compassion, calm and reason, resolve and fierce determination. We have refused to live in a state of panic -- or a state of denial. There is a difference between being alert and being intimidated -- and this great nation will never be intimidated." (Applause.)

Adolph couldn't have "emotionally blackmailed" our subservience better!

Or as the scripture says, "They believed the lie and their damnation was just."

Unfortunately, Bush-supporters still deny the truth in front of them even after all of the damage he's done to our Nation, our People & our Rule of Law, then still don't realize that people cannot be governed without their consent...This is one of the Natural Laws that developed from the Magna Carta of 1215 to the Declaration of Independence to the Articles of Confederation (there is no record that the Articles have ever been repealed: Merely superseded by the Constitution in precedence) to the Constitution & Bill of Rights. Those documents did not create your Natural Rights...This lineage of documents only expressed the development of our understanding of our Rights under Natural Law.

-------Continued From Above---------

"Where liberty is, there is my country." -- Benjamin Franklin
"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny." -- Thomas Jefferson
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than those attending too small a degree of it." -- Thomas Jefferson
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." -- Thomas Jefferson
"The doorstep to the temple of wisdom is a knowledge of our own ignorance." -- Benjamin Franklin

Your consent for a tyrant to continue ruling over you is based on your silence. Your silence stems from fear of the "ruler" & his spreading of the "fear of terrorism" that he generates. The only thing that will defeat that fear is to find your own individual courage to see the truth & stand up for the truth. Only the truth can topple his deceptions. Once the truth is known & the lies confronted, tyranny cannot stand. Only once tyranny is toppled can you truly be free & exercise your Rights to self-determination & reclaim your American birthright as a Sovereign Person as our Founding Forefathers envisioned.

"As we must account for every idle word, so must we account for every idle silence." -- Benjamin Franklin
"A coward is much more exposed to quarrels than a man of spirit." -- Thomas Jefferson
"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Distrust and caution are the parents of security." -- Benjamin Franklin
"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government." -- Thomas Jefferson
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." -- Thomas Jefferson

In short, under Natural Law & the Constitution, the only permissible restriction on your freedoms is to not violate the Rights of others...Then look at all the new restrictions that the government has saddled us with over the past 100 years or so & especially within the past 15 years. Bush still refers to America as a Democracy (even though we originated with a Republic), but the truth is closer to a Plutocracy (Rule by the Wealthy). Yet with all of these newly imposed restrictions upon us, tyrants still seek to make themselves immune to Rule of Law & us: Yes, the tyrant is the most fearful ruler & seeks to make others even more fearful of him than he is of us. This is the real truth to which no "ruler" can hide behind with lies. And speaking of restrictions...

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- Thomas Jefferson
"The strictest law sometimes becomes the severest injustice." -- Benjamin Franklin
"Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God." -- Benjamin Franklin
"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." -- Benjamin Franklin
"I have no fear that the result of our experiment will be that men may be trusted to govern themselves without a master." -- Thomas Jefferson

For this final Jefferson quote, I feel that I need to add that it takes true courage for the American Experiment to succeed. Courage is not the lack of fear, but the bravery it takes to overcome fear. A Hero is not a person with excessive amounts of bravery, but one who is brave long enough to do what must be done.

Whoever needs to find their courage should find it fast. We're already set up for the Coup d'Etat in America. All of the initial groundwork & infrastructure for a complete Dictatorship is already in place. After personally giving the order to initiate the 9/11 attacks, Bush went full steam ahead from there. All it would now take for Bush to announce a national lockdown is one more serious "terrorist attack" to give him the "justification" to add more fear-mongering. According to Global Research:

Based on so-called "credible" reports, Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge has warned that Osama is now "planning to disrupt the November elections". A large scale attack on American soil is said to be planned by Al Qaeda during the presidential election campaign:

"... Credible reporting indicates that Al Qaeda is moving forward with its plans to carry out a large-scale attack in the United States in an effort to disrupt our democratic process... This is sobering information about those who wish to do us harm... But every day we strengthen the security of our nation." (Quoted in AP, 8 July 2004)

"Possible targets" include the Democratic National Convention in July and the Republican Convention in New York in August.

Barely a few days prior to Tom Ridge's spectacular announcement, a spokesman of Northern Command Headquarters at Patterson Air Force Base in Colorado, confirmed that Northcom (which has a mandate to defend the Homeland) was "at a high level of readiness" and was proceeding with the (routine) deployment of jet fighters over major cities as well as the posting of troops at key locations. (Atlantic Journal and Constitution, 3 July 2004).

From there, it'll be easy for him to suspend the November Elections & be set for true dictatorship.

Homeland Security and the White House no doubt have several "scenarios" in mind to "win" the presidential elections in November. Recent developments suggest that Homeland Security is indeed contemplating a code red alert. At the same time, the Bush Administration is also maneuvering cautiously behind the scenes, with a view to embedding formal "guidelines" into federal election procedures, which would allow for the cancellation or postponement of an election in the event of a terror attack.

To reach their objective, the Bush Administration is using the jurisdiction of one of its bogus federal agencies, the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), established in 2003 under the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA).

Notice that the two embedded hyperlinks don't actually work at this time to lead to the articles they reference!. That could mean a couple of different things, especially considering how close we are to the elections: Those files could either be secured or maybe even (re)moved. I think a "server error" at this point in time seems a bit too coincidental. And if that's not enough to get your gears engaging your courage, see how long that this move to tyranny has been going on & how far they've gone in Erasing America.

"There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals. When there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws." -- Ayn Rand
This is probably why so many people are already jailed & the rest of us have been defined by the Patriot Act as "criminals that just haven't yet been caught."

So, you think that food is getting expensive in the US? How about what US Foreign Policy has done to the Middle Eastern food supplies so far? How many people are already slated to die of starvation, poverty & hunger in the US, just as it's been engineered in the Middle Eastern Nations?

"Many writers have noted similarities between America today and Germany before Hitler...Our crisis is real. The crisis is the fact that our country, the United States of America -- the freest, the most productive and the most moral country in the world -- is now moving in Hitler's direction. America is moving toward a Nazi form of totalitarianism. It has been doing this for decades. It has been doing so gradually, by default, and for the most part unknowingly, but it is doing so systematically, and without significant opposition...If we are to avoid a fate like that of Germany, we must find out what made such a fate possible. We must find out what, at root, is required to turn a country, Germany or any other country, into a Nazi dictatorship, and then we must uproot that root" -- Leonard Peikoff "The Ominous Parallels"

All in all, I think former Attorney General Ramsey Clark sums up the best way to find your courage, as excerpted from a link earlier in this posting:

I think the solution relies on the power of the idea, and the power of the word, and on a belief that, in the end, the ultimate power resides in the people.

In discussing the effects of U.S. foreign policy, we've been talking about only one part of the story. Another part is resistance - the power of the people. We saw that in the Philippines, when Marcos was deposed in a nonviolent revolution, and we saw that in Iran, when the Shah's staggering power was overcome, as well, by a nonviolent revolution.

Of course, just getting rid of Marcos or the Shah is not the end of the story. People sometimes think that, after the glorious revolution, everybody is going to live happily ever after. But it doesn't work that way. What they've gone through in the struggle has divided them, confused them, driven them to extremes of desperation.

I think what all of this means is that we each have to do our own part, and become responsible, civic-minded citizens: we have to realize that we won't be happy unless we try to do our part. And if a small portion of us simply do our part, that will be enough. If even 1 percent of the people of this country could break out of the invisible chains, they could bring down this military-industrial complex - this tyranny of corporations, this plutocracy - overnight. That's all it would take: 1 percent of the people.

We also have to realize that we're going to be here only one time, and we've got to enjoy life, however hard it is. To miss the opportunity for joy is to miss life. Any fool can be unhappy; in fact, we make whole industries out of being unhappy, because happy people generally make lousy consumers. It's interesting to see how the poor understand all of this better than the rich. This morning, I was in court over in Brooklyn, representing a group of Romany - they're often called Gypsies, but they don't like to be called that - who were claiming recognition for losses in the Holocaust. The Romany lost 1.5 million people, yet nobody pays any attention to their claims. In fact, last year, the city of Munich, Germany, enacted legislation that is almost a verbatim reproduction of 1934 legislation prohibiting Romany from coming into the city: they'll be arrested if they do. The Romany might be the most endangered people on the planet - even more so than the 200 million indigenous people around the globe. They are fugitives everywhere they go, persecuted everywhere. Yet, like the traditional indigenous peoples, they are people of exceptional joy. They sing and dance and have fun. They can't see life as so much drudgery.

I saw that same joy among the civil-rights protesters in the 1960s. Watching them sing as they marched, I couldn't help but realize that you feel better when you're doing something you feel is right - no matter how hard it is.

"Those who do not learn the mistakes from history are doomed to repeat them."--Widely used quote.
Is it any wonder that just a couple of generations after Hitler, we still keep saying to ourselves, "Never forget" & "Never again" too many people still don't see the close parallel between Hitler & Bush? Even after a look at the results of Project Paperclip (another entry at Wikipedia)?

I hope & pray that this has been an effective wake-up call for at least one person: If it was, then it was worth all of the work I put into it. I don't know about you, but I intend to be part of the 1% that Ramsey Clark mentioned.

Good luck & God Bless

Here's an example of this in action.

When the concept of wikipedia was first created, people really did rally behind the idea, propelling it to the state of existence it currently resides within - those same people are probably working to improve that site as i type this post.

How long did it take for criticisms to come in doubting the worthiness of the wikipedia articles?

a month?

a week?

I believe that at some point, a massive drive was made in order to destroy wikipedia's credibility.

And why?

Because Wikipedia stands as a source of an unimaginable amount of information (x number of articles times content), it's only natural for it to be targeted by those who would wish to control that information.

This is just one of the clues that leads to the greater picture.

We are truly in the decline of this once great nation. Our founding fathers were flawed in their hopes. What is the next step? I can only pray I am alive to see it.

The irony of Neil Armstrong's quote is now more relevant here on earth than on the moon, "one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."

We are truly in the decline of this once great nation. Our founding fathers were flawed in their hopes.

I don't really think their hopes were flawed. Throughout the history of human civilization, all nations & empires fell...Why? Because governments grew corrupt & decayed from within. The Founding Fathers' vision was the first time in history that the People were put in charge, in a way that not even they could tell the government to remove their Natural Rights. This is why they abhorred Democracy & originally gave us a republic (See US Constitution--Article 4, Section 4).

To them, government was a necessary evil among humanity but this Constitutional Republic was the least onerous government that could be envisioned...It was established to uphold (& expand) Natural Rights (because they knew they never could list all possible Rights themselves), make laws as needed to pursue public issues in accordance with the Constitution itself, regulate trade with foreign nations & defend the US from invasion.
"The republican is the only form of government which is not eternally at open or secret war with the rights of mankind." -- Thomas Jefferson (assuming, of course, that the People are keeping the government within the Constitutional Oath of Office)
It truly was "the Great Experiment" for it's never been done this way before.

The failure was not in their vision, the initial establishment or the first few stumbling steps to implement it...The failure was due to the People who came after the Founders.
"We've given you a republic, if you can keep it." -- Benjamin Franklin
"Whenever a man has cast a longing eye on offices, a rottenness begins in his conduct." -- Thomas Jefferson

In essence, the People became the employer of government & the contract of employment was the Constitution & Bill of Rights. The "boss" (People) had to maintain vigilance to prevent corruption from seeping into their employees. After all, if you were the owner of a company, wouldn't you keep an eye on your employees so they wouldn't steal you blind?
"Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories." -- Thomas Jefferson

Over the past 150 years or so, We the Boss grew lax in our vigilance against corruption & sure enough, the employees robbed us blind. But We the People have always had the ultimate power over government, if for no other reason, due to a vast overwhelming superiority of numbers...And that's still true today.
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." -- Thomas Jefferson
This is why I brought up the subject of courage in the OP!

And this is why corrupted governments have never lasted through time...Because once the People got sick & tired of it, they either peacefully reform the government or revolt...& down goes government. This is what the Founding Forefathers saw from their knowledge of history & that's why they founded the government from the People...Because governments can never successfully govern without the consent of the governed!

In the current time, it's just that We the People have been hypnotized by the mainstream media propaganda. People, on the whole, are waking up, thinking critically & looking past the lies, but perhaps too late to prevent tyranny in the USA...I only hope that the People don't let it go so far as to the same point that Hitler accomplished.
Even at the time that Benjamin Franklin said, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," he was contributing advice on fighting fires, it's still good advice in nearly all occasions. In this case, the People failed to apply "an ounce of prevention" on the government, so the overall cost of correcting the problem is going to be "the pound of cure."

So we wind up being another failed nation once history has run its course & been recorded. This is the point in one of the quotes up above: "Those who do not learn the mistakes from history are doomed to repeat them." Americans have simply repeated the mistakes that occurred during Hitler's 3rd Reich.

But it's this very same Ruling Elite that have been themselves authoring these countless "repeating cycles of history" in the first place! They use different methods only as technology advances & they still keep getting the same results for their actions! Control the access to knowledge & truth to keep the masses dumbed down--War & massacres as population control--Breed fear of an external enemy to maintain the illusion that people need rulers--Propaganda to keep the masses content: These are the primary tasks they perform & that keep failing them, over & over again!
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction." -- Albert Einstein

One reason stems from two of the previous statements, in that you cannot keep the people contented with propaganda if you must also breed fear...This is what makes their "system of control" fail each time! How can people be content if they must always live in fear? Such a system of control is in violation of Nature Laws because both of those conditions are anathema to each other! Being born with freedom is in full accordance with the Laws of Nature, yet the Ruling Elite have always sought Power & wealth in the violation of Natural Laws!
I've heard it said that fanaticism is when someone does the same thing over & over again, yet somehow expects to get different results. Also--
"It gives me great pleasure indeed to see the stubbornness of an incorrigible nonconformist warmly acclaimed." -- Albert Einstein

True wisdom involves living within the Laws of Nature & it's also the base-root of all human knowledge. All branches of Science have, at the core, only knowledge of the Natural World we live in & the Laws of Nature that we live under.
"A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be." -- Albert Einstein
It's under this basic core-truth that was foremost in mind of the Founding Forefathers as they struggled for their Natural Freedom. They considered & rejected Democracy:
"A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine." -- Thomas Jefferson
"All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression." -- Thomas Jefferson

The Constitution, therefore, was written in order to establish a government that would abide by Natural Law. To be sure, the Constitution does contain elements of democratic processes, but it also contains strictly expressed limitations on how to use those processes. The Bill of Rights was considered sancrosect because these expressed the common Natural Law as it applies to humanity. The Constitution put all Power of Legislation in Congress, but both the Executive Branch & the Judiciary have been too-often guilty of usurping this Power...And yet, the Constitution & Bill of Rights were considered "off limits" for Congress to change in any fundamental way: They had the Power to amend (better clarify & define) what the Constitution says, but not the power to radically alter it in any way. As a beneficial side effect against "mob rule democracy," not even the People themselves had the Power to vote away their Rights because only Congress is allowed to legislate! This is only one example of the dynamic synergy inherent in the Constitution itself...The whole is much greater than the mere sum of its parts. The governments violations of it involved de-constructing it, piece by piece, a little at a time until they could un-weave it.

This is why America has fallen into the trap of repeating history...The same Ruling Elite that has been committing violations against Natural Laws for their own selfish purposes are the ones who keep us all stuck in the same cycle of history. For one example...Why do you think US economy is collapsing?
"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government." -- Thomas Jefferson
Government creates a problem. Government proposes a solution to the problem. Government grows bigger & more expensive to solve the problem. The solution never works to solve the problem, but to manage it instead (they amass great wealth in the process, of course). Repeat until satisfied. By growing bigger & bigger, more & more expensive, government sucks the economic life out of the nation until the economy collapses. Why do you think the US has such pervasive "welfare programs" & such a large, expensive military?
"The spirit of this country is totally adverse to a large military force." -- Thomas Jefferson
This is how the Ruling Elite maintain their "job security" & the illusion that the masses "need" a ruler. As a net result, rulership is an illusion & cannot be maintained without lies.
"That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves." -- Thomas Jefferson

In short, the Founding Forefathers established the government as a Civil Service, but the Ruling Elite will always try to pervert a free nation for the purpose of "self-service."
"When a man assumes a public trust he should consider himself a public property." -- Thomas Jefferson
I still maintain that it was the People who failed in vigilance against tyranny, but that failure results from the propaganda used by the Ruling Elite to keep the People quiescent enough to ignore what it they were doing to the nation.
"Power is not alluring to pure minds." -- Thomas Jefferson

It is in this violation of Natural Law is why I believe that humanity has been socially stagnate...If all people were free to do anything they wanted (as long as they do not violate the Natural Rights of others), then perhaps we could evolve into a harmonious one-world humanity. But being forcefully kept stagnant, socially-speaking, we stay doomed to repeat the same historic cycles. One of the ways the Ruling Elite accomplishes this is to keep us divided in mind & will, categorizing us & promoting those minor details that make us different from each other, instead of promoting that which we have in common. In other words, the wartime strategy of "Divide & Conquer."
"Conquest is not in our principles. It is inconsistent with our government." -- Thomas Jefferson
This is how our government became a perversion of Nature & conquers the People against the very foundations set forth by the Constitution.

All in all, the Constitutional Republic of America is at the end of its rope right now...That is why I stated, at the end of the OP, that I intend to be one of that 1% mentioned by Mr. Clark.
"When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on." -- Thomas Jefferson
