Some of the weird dream accounts have greatly disturbed me. Here is why.
On May 28th I posted this nightmate story on another board, note this was before I took notice of what the LHC even was:

I didn't even know of this a few weeks ago when for the first time in my adult life I was woken out of a dream (vision?) in sheer terror. Dream was: I was standing outside with lots of other people, and we were looking up at the sky on a clear dark night. Something was up in the sky. Huge amoeba shaped fingers of 'darker than dark' were reaching from the heavens towards our outer atmosphere, and the thunderous noise was beyond terrible, then everything went black and I woke up, absolutely drenched in sweat.

One thing I didn't include in my first posting of this, was that in this vision I was with the partner I love, and so very very sad I would never see them or anything else again. This wasn't just killing all life, it was killing anything after that too.

Thanks for letting me post that. It does sound very negative but this vision is still upsetting me a lot.

I never saw any 'daytime darkness' as described in this thread, but I do agree CCTV records could be a valuable source. My last job had me mixing with staff in various town centre CCTV operations buildings, and most often a 14-day rolling archive is kept.

The nighttime 'Sky illuminations' are another matter. I worked lots of nightshifts and saw them frequently, and I was in country areas well away from any cities. My dad, said they meant earthquakes were going on the other side of the world. He was ex-Navy, and said he saw these a lot out at deep-sea during night-duty.

Well when I saw this last week all I can describe it as was like a shadow racing across the ground, I know that sounds vague. It wasn't pitch black or anything like that, it just felt...different
I think whats relevant is that many people saw this that day in the UK, a lot of people are passing it off as clouds/weather conditions. while that is possible I would like to point out that here in the UK we are very used to cloud in fact most of us see cloud every day of our lives!! But how come it felt different? Its like if you hear a sound in your home at night, you spend all the time there and know all the usual noises, but if you hear an unusual noise it gets your attention straight away. Listen to your instincts people!
It may seem strange to some people that not everybody saw this, and I agree there would be no ignoring it if 60million people saw it as well. But from what i saw it was never a groundbreaking occurance, more of a subtle difference, not easily noticed. I believe that some people are more highly attuned to weird or paranormal occurances than others, so maybe only a select few picked up on this? Also where I live is on a hill, maybe to a person living in a valley the change would be more pronounced?
Well, we may not be able to get to the bottom of this but it seems something happened. Is interesting that many people are having similar dreams and quite scary ones at that BUT I wont start worrying that its going to be the end of the world, more likely explanation is that peoples subconciouses are picking up on something, some subtle changes that are occuring (EMF maybe?) after all its not like every dream that you have comes true!

I've had weird dreams with odd sky phenomena every so often for as long as i can remember, while looking at the sky things start to move and appear, i get the feeling they've been there a lot longer, lights you think are stars start to move etc, and some dreams even involve fights between us and them, often these dreams feel strange, not scary just strange, though oddly i rarely if ever am bothered by what many would consider nightmares, which i don't have often anyway.

I think Axzion is probably telling the truth, or what he believes to be the truth. On a slightly offtopic note has anybody not had a dream lately? I havent had a single dream in a very long time. Could it be connected I doubt it.

I have the belief that some alien ships, do not use any form of propulsion, rather the move space, and maybe time around them, defeating the infinite mass theory. If one of these downed space craft have fallen into a governments hand they could be testing their own version of the devise. If they moved space from one position to another it might be possible to create darkness in one spot by sending the light to another place. Close to a wormhole but more localized.

I received an e mail from the local Astromony Society saying they would not discuss the "event" as described by the orginal poster.

It would be good if he/she could post again and if they have found any CCTV ( say from Petrol Stations ) or road traffic cameras - in fact just down the road there is an INNKEEPERS LODGE on the roundabout which I know has CCTV and would have been effected ( ask in the TOBY )

The sooner this is done the sooner it can be verified.

I have a feeling knowing this area that this could be true. But at the moment there seems no verification at all.

Well, this is certainly scary! After reading you all's descriptions of the sudden darkness or lightning, then after reading Dark Nights "confession", I don't know what to think or what to believe, but what I do know is that it's fking scary!
