Sky went dark for about 6 seconds..

There was a darkness similar to this in the northeastern US in the 1800's. It is widely speculated this was caused by a massive forrest fire in Canada.

CERN comes to mind...

Im not sure what happened. Any one find out if it could of been a large sunspot? Could a huge sunspot do such a thing? Just curious questions.

Nibiru? Planet X? 2012? Polar shifts? Passage through galactic plane? LOL, Im just playing, but who knows.

These days, things are becoming more strange. Reports of the weirdest things have been happening. I for one know something big is going to go down in the near future, and all of man kind will need the help of each other and the help of all God's from all faiths.

You do know that the equator is zero and the latitudinal lines increase in either direction, therefore Toronto is south of London in terms of latitude.

Prehaps,Ignorant Ape,this is why these threads are being posted. Because people aren't as thick as you think they are,and they do know what it's like when a cloud makes it go dark. We all know this,we've all seen it a thousand times. So,one would presume that this is something different,something odd. like it going dark when there's only a lite cloud cover. That would be strange,and worthy of note. As you didn't see it with your own eyes,then it's a little harsh to jump in and slag off a load of people you've never met. Just my 2 penneth.

Exactly...the whole sky went dark, unnaturally so.

I am well aware and perceptive of light values, being that I am a professional artist (painter) and an accomplished photographer.

I spend an hour or two reading every morning and have done for years and as I said in my previous post I could hardly see the book for a few minutes. I wouldn't have bothered posting had this not been such an unusual experience.

I don't know what caused it, but it was such a pronounced and unnatural darkness that the obvious cloud bank theory (of which there were none on such a bright sunny morning) seems not to explain it.

Would love to know what happened!?!

ore is every one else in the area just a dumb sheeple - and only ` aware ` ats members are " smart enough " to notice these events

infact can anyone in the eastbourne area take note of any press coverage of this - be it print , teevee or radio - and log the chanel and show - then the extent of this can be verified

Oops, well it was Sunday and my brain wasn't switched on!


Anyway as for the cause of this sudden darkening - all we know is that it was a very localised event - indeed the OP states at the very beginning that the nearby South Downs were not affected. So the cause would have to be something coming between the OP and the Sun causing a temporary, local darkening.

The same thing happend where I live in the UK too, enough for me to think "what the hell was that?" - I was half asleep at the time but I do recall thinking to myself, that it went from nighttime to daylight extremely quick.

I thought nothing of it until I saw this thread, just thought it was a dream or something. I immediately thought, I bet they've just activated the LHC.

As someone else has already said this sort of reminds me of Independence Day But the other thing it reminded me of was the film The Trueman Show, just when you mentioned like the sky looked like it had almost "cracked"

This is so strange I can't believe I have just read your post, I had the same dream, I swear on my partners life I am telling the truth. I had a vivid dream I was outside and then complete darkness. I turned round and said to whoever I was with (in my dream) whats happening, then a brilliant flash, like a nuclear bomb or something similar and then I woke up with a bang! very strange and very odd you had the same dream of darkness, what is going on, so much strangeness in the last few weeks.
