Russia: Putin Says Moscow to Restore Ties With Cuba

Prime Minister Vladimir V. Putin said Monday that Russia should begin rekindling ties with Cuba, more than a decade and a half after the collapse of the Soviet Union forced Moscow to retract the economic aid that helped sustain the island for some 30 years.

The writings on the wall. Russia remembers the last time they began a military buildup in Cuba, and what that resulted in.

With our forces streched thin, and our economy in not the best shape we are beginning to see the "reds" (Russia, China and Iran etc..) beginning to make moves to possibly tip the scales of geopolitical power.

The question is, how far will we go to stop it?

Or even worse, how far "CAN" we go?
