the media is owned by the large Corporations and very elite rich, they in turn tell these flunky propt readers exactly what they are going to
report.
Bottom line, American's have been dumbed down for awhile now the big question is who is really behind it all?

Tom Clancy - The control of information is something the elite always does, particularly in a despotic form of government. Information, knowledge, is
power. If you can control information, you can control people.
Aldous Huxley, quotes about Control: Only a large-scale popular movement toward decentralization and self-help can arrest the present tendency toward
statism... A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers
control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude. To make them love it is the task assigned, in
present-day totalitarian states, to ministries of propaganda, newspaper editors and schoolteachers.
Joseph Paul Goebbels, quotes about Nazi: Not every item of news should be published. Rather must those who control news policies endeavor to make
every item of news serve a certain purpose.
Vance Packard, quotes about Nazi: The most common characteristic of all police states is intimidation by surveillance. Citizens know they are being
watched and overheard. Their mail is being examined. Their homes can be invaded.
"As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate, action: You liberate a city by
destroying it. Words are used to confuse, so that at election time people will solemnly vote against their own interests." —Gore Vidal, Imperial
America, 2004
