Not to be seen in AMerica until like 4 days after it happened.

On ESPN they already discussed how this Olympics will be the lowest rated one in America ever. Why? The even happens last week but not aired guess what? You can go online and go "Alright, Ghana won X, America won Y, Japan won Z." Which beats sitting there for an hour to see a 10second race. Too much fanfare and preparation. It's like Baseball, you could prolly finish a game in under an hour but they take their sweet ol time doing everything. If they just threw, hit, ran, threw, and kept it up it wouldn't drag on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Why Football has a time clock. You can sit and watch baseball for 20 minutes and see four plays. And the Olympics suffer from the same thing. Except it has the fact you can just check online to see who won instead of waiting and waiting for it to air on TV.

well i just watched the opening ceremony and it was SPECTACULAR. well done china!

they said that over forty billion dollars has gone into the preparation for the olympic games there and it shows. what an amazing stadium they built with that huge plasma screen all the way around the top.

the dancers telling some of the history were perfection itself and the opening drummers (2008 of them) were stunning.

i wish all the compting nations good luck over the next few weeks and thanks again china for the great show
