Freemasonry, how to join?

Topic started on 9-1-2003 @ 03:11 PM by EMGN

There is a Mason building not far from where I live that hold's meeting's every wensday. How would I go about asking them to join?

I'd also like more information about freemasonry. Most of the website's I've found weren't very informative.

And I don't think a view of masonry is complete without a look into the George Washington Masonic Memorial, which helps to shed light on George's Mason background
