It's natural that things slow down, it's 01:52 AM in Georgia at the moment, so I think it's natural to have less new informations.

not much I'm afraid. BBC News 24 is have a guy on now on HARDtalk and he's talking about Georgias PM being branded a war criminal by europe. He's
also reporting live from Tbilisi and all is calm there.
I'll post anything from Sky News if anything crops up.

Believe me, I understand. The amount of conflicting reports, most of them despite being contradictory, being entirely unsubstantiated thus far, is
enough to make everyone's head spin >_<
I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall of two governments' official PR policies, trying to break through to an accurate description of
what's happening on the ground. It's incredibly frustrating and sad, because while I'm trying to find out what's happening, I have little doubt
that regular people are suffering on both sides.

well i looked through the threads, it looks to me like the russians were in a fire fight with georgians, no one is denying that happened, the russians
kicked the crap out of the georgians,
I will say this, the carnage you showed was only a few people, i still have not seen anything to support the massive amounts of casulities that have
been reported, I seen a few burned tanks, a couple of blasted buildings, soldiers lying dead that look like they got shot, not shelled, cause shelling
usually causes dismemberment. I am not calling you a liar, I am saying I keep looking and have read through the threads , chased links, and what you
showed me is about all there is to see. when a town is shelled for hours, people get blown apart, there usually are signs of mass loss of blood in the
streets and so forth. The people you showed were dead, i will give you that, but here is my issue, i am desperately trying to find footage of the town
that got obliterated and there just isnt anything on google or in these threads that absolutely show evidence of more than small arms fire and a few
houses blown up from rpgs or tank rounds.

You hit so many points there I agree with!
Plus when you have Sky News saying "Oh Gori has no troops in" then BBC saying Gori has fallen... it's kind of hard to keep track.

It's a symptom of a much larger problem, one that may be unprecedented in modern times. Usually when a war happens there are numerous international
observers and on-the-ground news crews confirming every detail with their own eyes. This time though, for some totally inexplicable reason, everything
they report starts with "Russian official today said," or, "A spokesman for the Georgian interior ministry said," etc. It's mind boggling. Where
are the reporters?

If anyone has Sky News someone please turn it over, this newscaster has just looked like she seen a ghost.
She was about to read something, stumbled on her words, slurred, moved her eyes looking down like she was reading something then looked up, direct at
the camera and froze for around 4 seconds... Then read "Well.... noo..now lets go to Pres. Bush... from earlier"
Now shes back shes normal!? I noticed this a few days ago too then a few moments later Breaking News... if anyone has Sky News, turn it on now and
watch

If I were George Bush, I would walk over to Putin and let him know he had 60 minutes to stand down or I would light the world up.. I would explain to
him that I was unstable and not so smart and I would love to watch him turn to dust with me....
Putin is a savage, the SEALS need to find him, and put one in the back of his head.

There's alot of talk about mobilization, whether diplomatic or military i have no clue, they keep saying "mobilization". France is spearheading it,
they won't reveal the details of the resolution at all.
