Iraqis: Deal close on plan for US troops to leave

 BAGHDAD - Iraq and the U.S. are near an agreement on all American combat troops leaving Iraq by October 2010, with the last soldiers out three
years after that, two Iraqi officials told The Associated Press on Thursday. U.S. officials, however, insisted no dates had been agreed.

This is just astonishing IMO...the Iraqis want us gone I would have sign that agreement as soon as they had put it in the table. I remember GW saying
that if Iraqis ask for us to leave that we will do so....so whats going on here. At least an agreement some sort seems to be near completion to put an
end to the worst foreign policy blunder in the history of this country.

I feel sorry for any of the free iraqi people when the troops leave.
Because they will just be instantly taken over by the oppressive Islamic fundamentalist regimes and executed and tortured.
The whole thing was a waste.
The whole thing was just designed to get the public tax purse into private corporate hands.At the cost of many innocent lives.
I don't know how the people responsible for this can live happily, knowing one day they will die and have to face what they have done.
