How does one go about entering into the pool for the (formal) debate forum? What is the process for participating in such? Until later.

Kano is the one that is in charge of that forum. Right now there is a tournament going on. After the tournament is over you can possibly ask Kano if he will let you do a debate for fun with someone else. Ask kano after the tournament about you being in future debates.
