That is why, if you are going to build review websites, you get a dedicated/colocated server and register a hosting company domain as a frontend for it. Make sure you use your own "branded" nameservers and set yourself as the point of contact for the hosting company.

Then you can receive takedown notices for material on your own websites and completely ignore them.

Or so I've heard.

If i buying a product i do a Google search.

[name of product] product reviews
[name of product]complaints
[name of product]recalls

If a company can hide a bad product from a Google search i want to know who to pay at Google.

If i am dealing with a company i check it with www.ripoffreport.com...

take any latenight infocommercial and check them with ripoffreports and you will see why never to buy there products.
