With Iran insistant on proceeding with its nuclear program behind closed doors,
Iran bans UN
inspectors
And this quoted from Debka,
UN nuclear watchdog aroused Tehrans fury Saturday by unanimously adopting US-backed resolution condemning Iran for hiding possible weapons-related
nuclear activities. Resolution adopted hours after Tehran abruptly froze UN inspections for 6 weeks, thus blocking watchdogs efforts to deliver
judgment by next board meeting in June.
And Israel's Mossad concentrating on national threats to its existence,
Redirecting the Mossad
"According to sources familiar with his mind-set, Sharons overriding motivation in approving the Mossads overhaul was his acute sense of peril
emanating most of all from the nuclear threat. This sense can be summed up in a word: We may find it interesting and even useful to discover who
really pulls the wires in some country or other. But what use will this intelligence be if Israel is under nuclear attack?"
And the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Hassan Rohan saying: "The World Must Accept Iran's Membership in the World Nuclear
Club"
Iran has right to join nuclear club
How long before Israel says enough is enough and mounts a massive raid similar to its "Osirak" raid on Irans nuclear facilities and sites ? - with
the UN shown to be all but impotent when dealing with Korea and Iraq and the example of Libyas capitulation when it saw what happened to Saddam,
Sharon is held in check only by U.S. pressure.
Israel has taken its own path in odds with U.S. and U.N. policy in the past in regards to Iraq - I see little to stop a divergence again if Israel
see's its back to the wall.
