I did a search and see there is no definitive thread on the late Terence McKenna's perspective on UFO's. While his mastery of the language always
makes him a joy to read or to listen to, his thoughts on the UFO phenomenon have been particularly interesting to me.
To start, here is a recount of his personal UFO experience:
Here's a video where McKenna talks about the effect that UFOs have on the culture (with parallels to Christs' birth:
The Ufo as the Oversoul of the Species (excuse the bad music/cheesy intro)
I saw a UFO with Terence Mckenna back in 1996 at Rustlers Vallet in the Maluti Mountains. There were a few of us sitting near a small patch of water.
The sky was completely clear. We saw a light shining steady in the middle of the sky at about 3 o clock high. It moved rapidly to the right then
suddenly just winked out. We look at each other and Terence may've said something like; "Did you all see that?" We just nodded and kept grinning.
To this day it remains an unidentified object.
Just in case videos go down again. www.youtube.com...
Too bad we can't sum up these agendas and give our positions in some textual form.
For me no one comes close to the propulsion mechanism or the story of the UFO
more than a mister Lyne does. So yeah a brief inducement can help and I will
check out some running videos.
