Thanks for the views of New York. Someday soon I'm gonna go to Manhattan, NY at Christmas time.

Will be an awesome trip. Have never been to either the Northeast or northwest, but will eventually.

That was cool - had elements of portishead in there! You definately should visit NYC. Imo, the greatest city on earth - go to the village, alphabet city and tribecca. Yes it can be a totaly dump and insane place, but there is no other place around with the same vibe. And people are friendly! Amazing food, architecture and culture - we used to say that everyday you would see something in NY that was a once in a lifetime scenario...

You like Portishead. They've grown on me. Raise a glass, cheers to NYC, the greatest in the world.

It's gotta be friendlier than the Hospitality State of MS that I live in. I call it Hostility State. I went to California a few years ago and I couldn't believe how friendly people were. Love it too.

Ha! I live in a very boring conservative city in Colorado now - but I have the mountains so that is nice! I can't say I am a portishead fan but a long time ago I saw them in a tiny club in NY and I thought your song had hints of them...Glass was raised and toast was made! Here is an old toast that is good to throw out (you have to move your glass with the words as you say it)

I love the mountains too. I've never been to your side, but the ones I have seen are in TN. Just love it there towards North Carolina side. I've heard that last song you posted before I like it too. I like portishead remixes. cool...

Ah, you kids...has sounds of dubstep in there...I like it! They are one wierd band, but I like originality.
There is some strange artifacting on this video but the song is good - just dont look at the video, lol...



Also, if you really do plan a trip to NY I would be more than happy to send a list of great spots to check out!

Forties are the new 30's except we have the advantage of getting better with time like fine wine, it get's more expensive with time.
