Hello I am new here to the Forum, and This looks like a really good site to talk about so many things. I would like to speak about the Olmecs of South America and their correlation to West African (Mali) Empire and people. There are so many Similarities, and so far i have not found any scientific dna studies that have ever been done that links them at all, only pictures of statues and also writings and figurines of Gods... If anyone knows more about Olmecs please feel free to post it here, thanks.
.... EVIDENCE

THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN OLMEC RELIGIONS AND WEST AFRICAN RELIGIONS

One of the most important connections made to show that the Olmecs were West Africans is the very strong similarities in race between the Olmecs and West Africans and the ancient Nubians. In fact, during a scieitific conference held years ago, West African scientists identified Olmec artworkd and representations of Africoid peoples as West Africans.

The Africans also identified cultural traits such as ear plugs, sarification marks and keloid tatoos on the skin and face, cornrows, braids and tassels and even afro hairstyle as West African. Moreover, according to Ivan Van Sertima (African Presene in Early America), giant heads of stone to represent important people in Africa was being done in the present era as well as in ancient Egypt and Nubia.

The 22 or more collosal stone heads carved out of solid basalt rock hasidentifiable Black African in racial features as well as cultural traits like cornrow hairstyle, braids with beads and kinky hair as well as a type of war helmet identified as Nubian have been found carved in Colosal Olmec sculpture connecting them to West Africa and the Egypt/Sudan region.

Hundreds of clay and terracota busts, statuettes and figurines also show Black African racial and cultural traits. For example, scarification marks and keloid tatoos identical to those worn by West Africans and Sudanese Africans can be seen on some Olmec busts and terracota heads. Kinky hair, cornrows, braids are also represented (see African Presence in Early America, by Ivan Van Sertima; Transaction Publishers.

The Olmec are known as the Xi People, a group that migrated from Africa. Another group of people who joined the Olmes were the Black Xia of China. According to historians such as Wayne B. Chandler (African Presence in Early America), two of China's earliest Dynaties, the Shang and the Shia were both heavily Black African/Black Oceanic dynasties, with Mongol Chinese as well. They dominated China about 2800 B.C. to 1100 B.C.

As early as 2200 B.C., members of the Black Shia began migrating out of China after they were replaced by the Black Shang Dynasty. The book, "A History of the African-Olmecs presents many references from Chinese sources to support the fact of Black civilizations in ancient China.

About 1100 B.C., migrants from northern China predominated by Mongoloids called Chou, invaded the Chang Kingdom and described the Chang as "black and oily skinned." During that period many of the Black Chang migrated to Southern China, Indo-China and the Pacific Islands. Others went to the Americas, where they met an established Black Mende culture in Mexico.

RELIGIOUS SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE AFRICAN-OLMECS AND WEST AFRICANS

The African-Olmecs also had religious practices identical to that of West Africans, according to "A History of the African-Olmecs," ( published by 1stbooks Library, 2959 Vernal Pike, Bloomington, Indiana 47404 U.S.A ww.1stbooks.com ) Olmec religions included the use of shamen, the recognition of the Venus planet complex, the use of the ax as a prop in the worship of the Thunder God and the importance of children in their religion.

In the African religion of Shango, shamen are used. In fact, a statuette of an Oni or Priest-king of ancient Nigeria falls in line with the description of the Olmec Shamen given by early American archeologists in the Olmec region of Mexico.

In the Shango religion of Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, Brazil and other parts of African-Americas, the very same religion as practiced by the Olmecs is still practiced. As for Africa, the Venus complex is studied by the Ono and Bambara, both accomplished seamen who usd to sail the once sea-covered Sahara and the Atlantic.

The Dogon of Mali specialize in the study of the Sirius star system and are experts in their accuracy and charting methods, without any telecopes. The use of the ax and its connection to the worship of the Thunder God was also connected to the Olmecs. Both the Olmecs of Mexico and West Africans practiced religions that included children playing a significant part.

There is overwhelming evidence in all areas that the first civilization in Mexico was influenced tremendously by Africans from West Africa and Nubia/Egypt. All cultural and racial connections show this importand and crucial fact.

There is also a connection with the early Black and Mongoloid dynasties of ancient Shia and Shang Dynasty China, whose prehhistoric origins is said to be Mesopotamia during the Ku#e dynasties and Ku#e Sudan.

The statue of an ancient Nigerian Oni or Priest-king dating back thousands of years shows him holding religious artefacts that have been found among Olmec priests who are holding identical artefacts in the very same manner.

A large stone statue of a Negroid character at the San Agustine Culture site in Colombia, South America also show the same items in the hands of the statue (see African Civilizations of America "James Williamson," website, community.webtv.net... )

OTHER ANCIENT AFRICANS OF THE AMERICAS

Apart from the Olmecs, a number of other Black cultures and civilizations have been found to have existed in the Americas before Columbus and thousands of years before Christ. The book, "A History of the African-Olmecs," lists them as well as those who personally excavated, explored or spoke to the remnants of these early American Blacks of ancient African and Pacific Ocean origins.

The naturalist and author, I. Rafinesque (pp. 121, 186-187, 194, 208-209 lists many such Black nations in his work, "The Black Nations of America," (Atlantic Journal and Friend Knowledge; Philadelphia 1832/1833; p. 86. Some of these nations include the Wa#aw of the Louisiana Territories who owned millions of acres of land, the Guale and Jamassee of the South-eastern U.S., the Black Caliornians of California and the South-western U.S.

A number of pre-columbian Black nations also come from Latin America. There are the Afro-Darienite of Panama, the Choco of Columbia who like other Black Columbians and Black Latin Americans, are the victims of some of the most putrid forms of racism practiced today, including India's castism againt Black Untouchables.

toltec would love to have a conversation about this very topic, im sure of that...

www.mesoweb.com...

but you can find much more with a google search...

i tend to know that the olmecs are going to be shunned in this "civilization" because there is a fear of a black planet by those few who think they control how the world is percieved...

but, the implications would be far reaching; everything from science to technology math and art would have to be looked at again in eyes few have the ability to percieve/believe/convieve...

i tend to think this is another testament to the early "black" cultures, that are obviously overlooked in favor of a eurocentric outlook on the growth of human life on planet earth. but, truly they are not overlooked just looked at and studied by the very few elites who "know" there is much more than "meets the eye"...

the very similarities between the temples of KMT(egypt) and the layout of the ancient temples of mezoamerica(olmec, toltec, mezatec, and many other black and brown early american civilizations) asia, mounds in eu-rope, and potentially submerged mid atlantic ocean atlantis and frozen antartica, may hold a large degree of the missing history of a culture that has been "forgotten" by modern "scholars" in their "quest" for knowledge...

welcome to the forum...

IMHO, I personally tend to objectively feel that there is sufficient evidences to constitute both an African and Chinese/Polynesian/Oriental migration to South America.

This is not a subjective research against an African presence, but an objective research into 'those' who did visit, trade, and migrate to the various South American regions.

There are many historians for those heads being Polynesian as there are for them being African. The debate and obviously the research into this matter is still of an on-going nature and does not entirely discount an African influence, but surely reaffirms that an African influence was not the only influence.

talk about cosmic synchronicities...

her is a quote from 2cool:
www.bvalphaserver.com...

"Y'know I used to believe a lot more in the reptilians that exist today that Icke talks about until I recently read The Return of the Serpents of Wisdom. It talks about how old cultures revered the serpent as a god-like creature who the gods actually came from. It talks about all the ancient myths regarding snake including the creation myths where there is an androgynous serpentine force that can be created in us by inviting the Kundalini, a serpent spiritual energy force which can open up the chakras when started up, to go up our spine and open up all the chakras and reach the base of the skull. The author uses a lot of proof by citing references to "Serpents of Wisdom" who really aren't reptilian beings at all but humans who have achieved Immortality and god-like wisdom by opening the chakras and opening the Christ Consciousness within us all. Theoretically, we could become gods and lots of people cited in ancient texts are said to have become like the gods. It seems that when Jesus said "Ye are gods" or "ye may become like the Most High by believing in him" he wasn't kidding. The author does say something I have a problem with. He claims that the people who made all the creation texts and spread them throughout the world know that these are real or at least the creation reflects what the texts say. The serpent-god in all the major creation stories supposedly is drawn in some cultures as spiraling, such as the Kundalini serpent-force is spiraling in our bodies.

Before that, the book claims through other sources that the serpent-god (male) woke up and mixed with the cosmic sea (female) and became an androgynous god, also represented by the Twins in the zodiac. after that, he made his spirit within everything created and everything was made according to sacred geometry resembling some type of spiral shape or something like that. You'd hafta read sacred geometry to understand. And after that, Mu and Atlantis were created on opposite sides of the world. Atlantis was the non-spiritual, aggressive, warlike, technological society while Mu was the spiritually advanced and peaceful one since they were equidistant from each other and the 2 island-continents resemble the Twin Gods emanating from the creator god. Anyway, the author claims that all the angels and everything are serpents or resemble serpents in nature. Even the ET serpents he claims jump from planet to planet helping lifeforms become spiritually advanced and Serpents of Wisdom, and are immortal but not ethereal messengers doing the bididng of god. There are also supposed 104,000 year cycles in which life exists and there's 4 Suns or worlds divided in 26,000 years each. At the beginning of our current cycle, the ETs, spread into a bunch of sub-groups such as the Kumaras, came to Atlantis and Mu, or maybe just Mu. soon after, Mu sunk due to global cataclysms and only the Polynesian islands and oceanic islands existed. later Atlantis sunk. But before that, the people of Mu and Atlantis, who interbred with the ET serpents on their respective Mu and Atlantis, spread to Asia and Middle East and North Africa from Mu and went to Americas from Atlantis. Some Mu people also came to America. These people in Mesoamerica created the incas, Mayans, Aztecs, Toltecs, etc. wherever they created societies they created pyramids, stone temples, megaliths, and rock formations to summon the serpent life force on the energy grid or otherwise said, they put them on the ley lines in certain patterns. These were said to summon life force and make people feel peaceful and it also was used for teleportation to other places in the universe and universal communication.

He says in the book that Buddhism and Taoism are 2 major religions which are based on making yourself an immortal Serpent of wisdom. The Serpents of Wisdom are said to be humans who have become immortal through a strict diet (sometimes), meditation, maybe prayer, breathing control, and some other stuff. Once you're a Serpent of Wisdom you are supposed to have god-like abilities such as the ability to summon the gods' serpent force to do magic, shapeshift, fly in the air, become invisible, etc. But the thing I have a problem with is when he talks about Jesus. See, i read this book after reading The Christ Conspiracy and believing that Christ is just a myth created by the elites of ancient Roman establishment based on earlier saviors. but he says that Christ is really an incarnation of an old serpent-god named Sanada Kumara and the other christ-like saviors before Christ were also incarnations of Sanada. He showed a picture which he claimed was a picture of Sanada kumara in teh jesus incarnation when he possessed someone's body and transformed them to look like him just to show the author. I don't buy it though b/c it looks more like a painting than a pic.

foolishbeing,
Just a friendly heads-up, but you will need to cite your information in your last post, if it is not your work.

Please edit it and add such, if required. I have sent you a u2u (which can be found at the top right hand of the page in white, saying 1u2u, etc) concerning this also.

Thanks.
