This was a truly poorly-written piece. You claim that Obama's "fanboys" adore him for reasons that are illogical and without reason, yet that claim remains unsubstantiated throughout the entire essay. You fail to actually prove that his most avid supporters support him blindly, and you fail to prove that their beliefs in what Obama is are without merit. So much for being an advocate of logic, huh?

This is pure speculation on your part. I do not believe that Obama really wants to attack Iran, that's too much of a mess. Then, Obama has always been anti-war and likening him to McCain in that regard is a farce. Further, McCain is, as somebody said, Bush's homunculus, and Bush is using the constitution as toilet paper -- I can't blame Obama for that just yet. And, McCain has been such a staunch supporter of illegal immigration that pretty much everyone else has got nothing on him in that area.

Basically, your point is bogus.

Well. As I understand it the NWO will come to pass and that will surly have people wanting to do something. City folk will be boned as soon as the local Safeway store food is gone or rotting on a shelf. Bet I'd see a lot of new faces in my hills then
An old southern woman once told me "Never fly so high you can't lite (land). Reminding me that no matter how much a big shot I thought I was that I might want to not step on the people helping me get there so when times get rough I might have a helping hand.

Want to see the Constitution work? why not try and do something about it other than cry it don't work? maybe get more people registered to vote. Get yourself registered to vote. Imagine more than 12-20% of registered voters going to the polls. Might be able to unload a bunch of career politicians that have forgot why they got into the game. Congress has the real power. We have the prez stuck to a max time frame but the ones that actually make the laws. Set taxes. Hold the purse strings literally. but we let them sit for 30 year and blame the president. It's just easier to remember one name I guess. The freedoms our forefathers fought and died for are worth more than a little gum bumping. Help people help the country. Have any of you took the time to help someone get to the polls? My dumb but has. I'll pick up several each election. Mostly older people because they might not be able to drive anymore. I don't ask their politics and don't care. They want to exorcise their RESPONSIBILITY and vote. I mean..Just look at the numbers. How many of the registered voters actually vote? how many that can register actually do it? sure..it's your right to not vote and you can cry all you want to. But that make as much since as saying someone must be some southerner because they don't agree with you

Yeah..I'm one of those southern people holding on tome Bible and guns I don't think it's the governments job to take those things away fro me. I don't think Obama and his crusaders of hope and change are going to drive out here and protect me if there's another home invasion...Mostly city kids strung out on pain pills wanting to knock off a few old people for their drugs. so I'll pray and take my shot at protecting my home and family all no my own.

and no..I'm not a big GOP fan..I'm pretty much an Independent bordering on being a Libertarian. I don't want bigger government. Someone has to pay all those people and I guess Obama will pull that off like Jesus and the few fish and loaves of bread...NO!..that will be paid by you and me.

And why would Obama think the oil companies owe all Americans another stimulus check? Last I knew those companies were owned by stock holders. Many of which are normal working folk in their 401K and the like. Sure they had record profits but how much did they pay in taxes? Probably a little more than any of y'all did. I know it sure would have beat the few bucks I had to.

I watched that little convention of minority media writers the other day. Obama was there and was asked what he thought about some in the media saying he looked like he was running for president of the world. His replay was. "I am" I will have to find a link to that but I did hear it with my own ears. Obama made it to that thing fresh off his overseas trip. so no..I don't trust him. I don't like McCain much either. I think Ron Paul has something to say but I fear he will just split the GOP and Obama will get the job. And if so he will be my president. But if the crap hits the fan because he tries to push people and it becomes real bad. You city folk might wanna scope some country land. I always grow a little extra in my gardens What I don't can you can go through. Pretty nice for a southern dummy

Indeed he is running for President of the World. He will bring true leadership back to America.

Leadership back to America....hmm...Well. I wont say he can't lead ..I"m just a little nervous as to how he will do it. though I see most all liberals as wanna be socialist. The answer to our problems are not more government. It's too big now.

Well, after we managed to elect (twice, no less!) a reasonably good looking dufus to this office, with no substance, who seems to have speech and logic impediments and has no merit whatsoever and DOES behave as the president of the world, I just don't see how Obama can do worse. At least he'll be less of an embarrassment.

Keep in mind, that's a personal opinion. Not everyone agrees with you.

I'm just sick you you guys declaring stuff like that, as if its historical fact.

See thats a huge misconception sponsored by the GOP.

We Liberals have never advocated "Larger Government"

Although some of the liberal policies in the past have led to or required this, we currently have a sufficiently large enough government to implement liberal and social policies which do not require or result in larger gov.

We have only to divert the funds that are going to Iraq (1 Bil a day) to causes more in line with the liberal agenda.

So, this election is not about more or less government, it's about how we use the gov we already have but are mis-using.

Obama declaring himself God...

When Morgan Freeman comes over to greet Obama, the senator begins bowing down both hands in worship. ‘This guy was president before I was,’ says Obama, referring to Freeman's turn in Deep Impact and, clearly, getting a little ahead of his own bio. Next, a nod to Bruce Almighty: ‘This guy was God before I was

blogs.abcnews.com...

the science behind Obama worship, basically obama keeps his campaign puroposes and stances purposefully vauge so his supporters can imagine him to take whatever stance that fits into their fantasy of who he is. its all pop psychology, just like a revival curch meeting...

on obama:

"A certain amount of ambiguity is needed because then people can project their idiosyncratic visions onto that" figure, Mr. Langone said. When that happens, the candidate becomes a Rorschach Test — people see in him what they want to see, "and they may think they share the same specifics, but they don't. What they're really sharing is an emotional experience, like a revival meeting," Mr. Langone said.

Social policies for what? Oh..And I am a conservative but not a member of the GOP so that's moot.

I mean..Welfare is not enough? Nationalized health care? and none of these things will require more offices to monitor these programs. And the working poor gets shafted into paying the bill. I can go as far as to say that Clinton did a better job then I thought he would and thank God. There's not been many liberal presidents in U.S. history that didn't follow the tax and spend mind set that is required to run the programs that are desired by the followers of this ideal. Being on a fixed income since I tore my back out I have been allowed to see what government sponsored health care does, It costs me more now to go to the Dr then it did when I paid out of pocket. A 78.00 visit is now 119.00.

Now I'm not going to say Bush was the end all be all but I do remember the first time I remember him being accused of causing a ressession in this country. It was a mere eight weeks into his first term. You tell me how...how can that be? It had nothing to do with the last eight years. It was done in two months.....Ressession.

In a story book world we could drive cars that sucked air and paid us money but we have to wake up. Someone tell me what Obama spends a month in utility bills. That hous in Ill is pretty sizable. And I aint buying he keeps it 78 in the summer and 60 in the winter while using a solar air conditioner. I bet he does not go to campaign events in a Prius. I've yet to see Lincoln make a stretch hybrid.

I'm sorry but the emperors new clothes have holes !!

The media can bend over and put on the brown lipstick all they want. This man is not the new end all cure all. In reality I don't see anything close in this election but hell...Admit it. and I'm in no way ready to embrace a man or woman that wont stand up and say this country is anything else but the best place on earth. Sure we have out issues. But you stack it up against the rest. At least you can say it here. People pay attention to little things like flag pins believe it or not. WE want a patriot to lead us. I have no desire to be like Europe I'd go there if I did.

I don't give a crap what he does with his family. I don't care if he wants to worship the Devil or a damn head of lettuce. But I do care if the man is proud to be an American. and he seems to have issue with that. I've heard statements for month and he stumble and his eyes will go from right to left every single time he's brought to this issue. someone questions my love of country you be damn sure I'll be looking them in the eye. And so should my President.

I am interested in what social programs require no more or less government to monitor or them. And just why it is the governments job to do a lot of these things to begin with? using government to force people to pay for programs that are not supposed to be the governments business is adding more laws. Taking away free will. Not allowing the private sector to take personal responsibility.

To try and force private business to give away money it has made in the operation of their business is theft. I really don't care how much oil companies have made. They pay a ton in taxes...Billions in taxes. But they owe every American a thousand dollars? Obama says so. Is there is Mr Exxon that reaps these profits? No, they have stock holders. And those stockholders ask that the company makes money. Oil is not set by only one company. In fact it is set by a bunch of people that are not even in this country. By getting market value for your product you are bad. I'd love to see any business that porpoisely sells well under market value for their product. No one does that. Not even a liberal.

Ya know, its obvious to me. I've never ever been inspired by any politician until I saw Barrack speak at the 2004 convention.

From that moment on, I swore I was saving my vote for Obama.

It's just something you feel deep inside that says "Wow.. this is IT. This is OUR time! Finally!!!!!"

yes that "something deep inside" its called brainwashing... see if you were making logical choices you wouldnt "feel something deep inside" you would rationally go over his platform and his record plotting out flipflops and nebulous decisions, then you would match him against mccain. if after weighing them both out you decide obama is the lesser of the two evils that would be a rational choice.

seeing obama speak becoming and entranced by his vapid speech patterns and just "feeling this is our time" is not logical. it is pure emotion. it is what drives the obama cult. and it is just as dangerous if not more, than jonestown itself...

Look, you first complain about rising costs of health care. I totally agree. Then you complain about the danger of too much govt intervention!

Wake up and smell coffee. There is no solid reason the cost of helathcare is bankrupting business and families as it does now. It's been allowed to run away and we spend considerably more on healthcare than most countries yet get modest results. This extortion pyramide only works because private interest dominate YOUR interest at the hands of the curent govt.

So if you such a staunch supporter of laissez faire capitalism, stop complaining about your situation. Of course, the govt could intervene and stop the insanity, but you would object, wouldn't you?
