Anyone who is in England, please report weather or not you can access www.infowars.com.

I'm hearing reports of it from Alex Jones, and his reporter in London.

This is some serious S if it's true. England is just about as free as China.

We need to counter this censorship.

www.infowars.com...

Ok, well then I don't know what the deal is.

Are you all on private servers?

Or in public places?

I knew this would be a lie. If not, England would be the new China.

I believe the reports relate to the apparent unavailability of sites such as infowars.com and prisonplanet.com when trying to access them using the free wi-fi service offered at London's St. Pancras International Train Station and is more likely than not the result of an off the shelf product being used which blocks these sites by default. Alex Jones should target his attacks at the site blocking software itself and not the IT managers at a railway station.

Everything works from here too (Midlands)

Maybe you've been tagged by your ISP for being a "Subversive"!!!

someone probably just needs to clear out their cache. best to try that first before paranoia

failing that, proxies are always useful find some here

Did Weekly World News report it too?

Alex Jones said Myspace blocked his sites too. That was about as true as this one is.

You start out asking people if it's true, then you say "if it's true", then by the end of your post you're already assuming censorship.

Alex Jones isn't important enough to censor. He runs his fans around circles of half truths.

Looks like Alex's imagination is on overdrive again.

That's why it's still up, because THEY said it, and not somebody more reliable.

Okey dokey. I'm not in the UK so I couldn't check for myself that is why I started this thread.

I'm in Canada and prisonplanet.tv is blocked sometimes. I can't explain why I can access only about 20% of the time I try. I've given up it's so frustrating.

Access fine here too - can't say I've ever looked at the site before mind!

Ok well I'm glad some people are going to infowars for the first time because of this thread.

Also even if they are not censoring the net yet, they really want to, and to shut down freedom of speech by bringing us Internet 2, so we can pay for people visiting our site, and pay to visit each site.
