My friend sent me this link, read on it a little its kind of interesting. I guess this car has an array of batteries that together produce 700 horsepower, and its also supposed to be able to go to 0 - 60 in under four seconds.

This company says it may be ready for production in 2010, pending required investments. Also its supposed to be able to go almost 200 miles on just a 10 minute charge from these 30 batteries...what do you all think about this? I think it looks amazing, and anything getting us away from oil as a primary energy source I am all for.

That's one nice car, and the electric motor makes it all the better.

It's important to remember though electric cars are a double edged sword. My old biology professor used to tell us how it takes more energy to produce the batteries in electric cars than is saved by using it instead of petrol. Good to keep in mind!
