I was talking to a friend on MSN about this (I live in CA she lives in KY) and I told her to look outside and see if she saw anything.. According to her there was something bigger than a star, that was white on bottom, red on top that she could see just above the tree's.. It was there for a while then she went to look again and it was gone..

I'm constantly looking out to see if I can spot anything here on the west..

Wow it seems like spotting a ufo is soo easy. I must be cursed by the will of Zeus.

I went out and looked around 4:00AM EST.

I live coastal, eastern seaboard, lets say close to washington DC.

I looked north, west, and northwest, and saw nothing but clear skies and stars.

I then looked east-north-east and a helicopter caught my eye. nothing unusual. so then I keep looking in that general direction, and WAYYY off in the distance, I mean so far I couldn't make out anything consistent, I saw a few blinks of very faint light, what looked like white or offwhite light, that would blink on for a fraction of a second and then vanish almost instantly. They were so faint and far away in appearance that I had to keep observing to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Most likely it was just a very distant star that your eye kept trying to focus in. Happens all the time to me.

I am in NE Ohio. Did not see anything earlier when I was driving home.

Need to go check again.

Way too much cloud cover right now, bit late but not seeing anything. I am wondering if its the same object me and my friend spotted last night though.

Well, still no sightings here.. There's something off to the north that has been blinking and not moving, but not betting on it being a spacecraft.

Well guys I'm off for one more time of stargazing and then I'm off to bed. I'll check in on intervals on my phone later just to see whats going on. So if anything unusual happens..POST IT!!!

Well I can't sleep so I decided to catch up on what's been goin on since I left.

Jester, what you said about that trucker made me get chills. It's so odd that so many different people are seeing some sort of "object" on the same night.

Matrix, those videos were amazing. The Lake Eerie one is the best footage I've seen of a U.F.O., well two, in my life.

Something is up guys, just don't know what yet...

Hate to sound like a party-pooper but could the spate of sightings from a day ago somehow be mis-identified meteors?

I mean there is a meteor shower that's going on right now if I'm not mistaken.

Just trying to keep all possibilities opened here.

Yea, meteor showers are a possibility, but it doesn't explain the fireball going UP.. It does, however explain the rise in shooting star sightings.

And most people seem to be seeing the same craft, or a very close resemblance to one another.
