Hi. I'm in North Carolina (near Raleigh). Went out on my deck around 2:45a.m. and seen a quick shooting star. Then a helecopter going in that
direction. I did not get the impression the two were related.

This is about the tenth siting in the last couple of days. People are posting on ATS WITHOUT photos or footage. I hate to be skeptical BUT I will
believe it when I finally see footage or photo. I have seen nothing more at this point but typed words, sorry. Nothing but words have been posted.

why not call up local law enforcement or whatever and say that your possibly seeing a burning plane in the sky or something, that way they would also
pay attention to it. better than just some random people having some crappy pics, if they have any pics at all.

Lots of people call the business number for the police station. They're busy tonight i bet.
Then there's Peter Davenport Does he still care about this?
Does anyone know his number? I want to call him

Believe me if I had seen something I would probably do exactly what you suggested, but as it stands right now all the info I have is second hand. I am
not about to call the police over something someone told me that they saw. Sorry if that seems a little harsh but I don't really trust the police
first of all, let alone calling them on someone else's word.
OP: has your contact called and reported this??

Well I caught a few more shooting stars..
2:57--South to North
3:01--Southeast to Northwest
3:06--East to West
I did see a few other flashes of light that caught my attention but I cought them out of my peripheral and can't say for sure that I saw them.
Also, there is the usual star in the northeast sky flashing red, blue, green, and white. It's not moving and my guess it is one of those
"star-clusters" I read about....Just normal stars doing their thing

poor Dg', feets all wet for nothin
As for the rest of you, seeing these sightings(not the people talking about shooting stars), buy a camera.
Also to the OP, why is it take 8 hours to look at pics taken with a digital camera? Can't your contact, upload them to his pc and email them to you,
takes about 2 minutes.
I'm calling BS here, and you got DgTemps' out of bed and now has wet feet. Who says hoaxes are a victimless crime?
You know to some people, possibly the guy on the phone with the OP, a few choppers flying in formation could be "unidentifiable" for them. People
should know, or at least research what things are normally in the sky, i.e. shooting stars, planes, choppers ect...before trying to become a
ufologist.
Still no pictures out of all these stories and reports of sightings the last couple nights.
I'd go back to bed but I have a red eyye flight to catch from NY to FL, I'll have my camera with me on board at my window seat just in case.

Not that I'm anywhere near Ohio - I'm near Vancouver, I went out to look at the sky for about 15 mins.
Alot of planes flew by - they flashed like planes anyways. I couldn't even count them, they flew in all different directions, one was very fast, one
was very slow, the rest normal speed, one hovered over the mountain, moving now and then. The planes were only unusual in that there was so many at
the same time, and coincidences do happen.
I also saw 2 shooting stars.

Man nice vids, thanks for posting em. The liftoff of the crafts in the toronto one is cool as hell, and the lake eerie one is very similar to the one
recorded in tallahasse florida.

I do what I can. I saw the first one from Lake Erie and I thought it was the best by far. Looked pretty much like what everyone was describing.

About the picture and video evidence. The times recently I have seen things I was totally unprepared. No camera, or the object was gone by the time
I tried to get a better look.
Sometimes that's the way it is.
I guess we should all start carrying our digital cameras wherever we go. Seems like when you see something you're just not ready for it.
I don't know, I don't think my digital camera would give a good picture at night. Some of us need better equipment. All we can do is talk about
our experience.
I'm seeing quite a few shooting stars, I guess, the last few nights.

I hate my closed minded friends. I just sent one the link to the Lake Erie UFO sighting and he says it is fake, it's photoshopped, not real, etc.
He then says I'm getting too wrapped up into this and I told him he was a closed minded idiot.
Then I blocked him on aim...Hahaha
I mean sure it's alright to take this stuff with a grain of salt, but still, a UFO it is nonetheless. Unidentified Flying Object.
