I agree. It all comes down to personal responsibility while posting.

-@Zorgon, god luv ya, but the retort is just continuing the travel down the wrong route. And the picture says to me "cute girl, I wonder if she has the pacifier for that Ex (Ectasy) party later on". Seeing as how any adult with a pacifier is propagating that message. There is no other reason. So, technically, that's a drug reference. See? It's a fine line.

Just pointing out the obvious (or not, maybe?).

Again, you don't stop to read the rules we all agreed to at registration. It's not censorship, it;'s you refusing to abide by the rules YOU AGREED TO.

I'm glad you understood my point. I am a fan of your posts Zorgy and you are a classy poster.
My issue isn't so much with the deleting of posts after the fact. I am constantly urging my fellow ATSers to take some personal responsibility in what they post. Resorting to calling people derogatory names shows a lack of certain qualities that really are needed to truly forward a threads topic.
If you have no argument on topic, don't try. Resorting to bad tactics doesn't help the topic and here at ATS (and you KNOW this Zorgon), it's more important to stay on topic than anywhere else we go on the web.
We forward and share our interests, informations and theories and try to back them up with facts and data. Personal attacks, whether in name-calling form (Noob, sheeple, Twoofer, etc) or grouping (Neo-con, Socialist etc as a derogatory weapon) take the subject from the topic and place it elsewhere.
It's been this way since 2003 when I started reading ATS to 2005 when I signed up to 2009 and beyond. It has to be the individual posters that take on this responsibility. They don't, so, the site has Moderators that are forced to try and keep up with all the infractions. Then, when they are FORCED to take care of them, ignorant posters (like above) get all bent out of shape because they didn't read the rules and got reprimanded.

Like I always say. Post with Class. (Which you constantly do, Zorgon, I got no beef with you, my friend) Post with intent. And (this always helps me) post like your Grandmother is reading over your shoulder. ATS can be pure positive info, regardless of the topic or the lean of every poster.

You got it, the only reason for using that term is to mock and ridicule truthers in an attempt to raise the temperature flairing tempers and anger before a civil discussion can even be contemplated .

I have always wondered why it is allowed also. It is an ad hom plane and simple.
