Former Marine dissapears near secret base

First of all, new user and first post, so please forgive if this is not in right area.


I've been watching this program on consipiracies and there was a brief mmention of a news crew that had a former US marine attempt to gain access and then get pictures and get out. Appantly, there is a base somewhere in the US that is so secret it doesn't appear on maps, even military ones, but not AREA 51! This was in the forest. The plan was for this guy to to inside the exclusion zone and report in every 24 hours. The first contact was made with news crew but after that nothing was heard. There was a the normal interviews with the crew and family of the former marine. There was also a very grainy image of a base in a valley set deep in this forest.

I would like to hear any and all infomation on this subject.

Is there any link or source to the story? It sounds like an urban legend. I can see a soldier getting lost in the woods or somewhere looking for a base/station.

What was the name of the show or the channel?

It sounds intriguing.

Are you thinking it was the Dulce installation in New Mexico?
Or Dugway Proving Grounds in utah?
There are a few that can be named off, but even less that have no government ties as to there existance.

Not much to go by on this thread.
