i dont watch bbc, but it seems to me the only thing they are telling you is that you guys have a credit crunch. and that this is a new trend and they are makeing sugestions as to what you could do. it also seems that they tried to add a little comedy in there. just my thoughts though..

I think the article is very toungue-in-cheek. They normally do these types of stories when the economy is down.

To lighten things up, look at the story that was below it:-

On a personal note, If I cant have my holiday abroad, then things are really bad ........ its the one thing in the year that I look forward too and keeps me going at work.
