Hi,
I've been hovering over this place for a few months now, enjoying what i've been reading (Probably the most fascinating site on the net). But this morning i felt i had to shout out to you guys to show you what i've seen.

Every morning i sit at home after the dog walk have my coffee and watch BBC Breakfast. Knowing about how our little nation is being turned into a Owellian society, this news clip astonished me so much i had to join up a see if you guys agreed with me.

Why are they telling what to do on my holidays this is dreadful. Sod the credit crunch and the BBC, I've never liked being dictated to and i certainly do'nt like this.

I think you overreact, it's just a so called "time breaker" - if they don't have an interesting story at let's say 9 o'clock, they air reports like this one. Well, at least that report makes me smile.

But, thinking about the report - it's bad for every country when their citizens make their vacation in country's abroad. Just think about the money the UK, Bulgaria, etc would save, if their citizens would stay at "Staycation" (had to add this word to my dictionary, lol)

Anyway, don't take this and other "time breakers" so serious. When they air stuff like this in the morning, I usually go to the toilet

Ok i see your point but its what i see as a big brother style move. Subtle i know but still they make it sound fun and engaging so i think wow lets do that. Next week the same and so on and so forth until i stop questioning their motives.

i dont watch bbc, but it seems to me the only thing they are telling you is that you guys have a credit crunch. and that this is a new trend and they are makeing sugestions as to what you could do. it also seems that they tried to add a little comedy in there. just my thoughts though..

I think the article is very toungue-in-cheek. They normally do these types of stories when the economy is down.

On a personal note, If I cant have my holiday abroad, then things are really bad ........ its the one thing in the year that I look forward too and keeps me going at work.

I am sorry, I dont take any notice of what that nutcase David Icke says ... the man is a complete cretin.

If you have listened to the crap that spouts from his mouth like I have, then you would understand how I feel about this man. I had the misfortune to live less than 50 yards from his apartment in his ''turquiose son of jesus days''. If I had had the power to have had him sectioned under the Mental Health Act I would have and told them to throw the key away.

I still have the misfortune to live less than 4 miles away from him. I wish this man would just go away and leave my peaceful Island alone. He is an embarrassment.
