Air Force says no survivors of B-52 crash off Guam

HONOLULU (AP) — All six crew members aboard a B-52 bomber that crashed off Guam were killed, the Air Force said Wednesday as the search effort shifted focus from rescue to recovery of the crew and pieces of the wreckage.
Two bodies have been found; the Air Force, without elaborating, said in a news release that forensic specialists were trying to identify additional remains recovered.
"Losing this bomber crew has been a tragedy felt by everyone here and across the Air Force," said Brig. Gen. Doug Owens, commander of the 36th Wing.
The six crew members were identified as Maj. Christopher M. Cooper, 33, aircraft commander; Maj. Brent D. Williams, 37, navigator; Capt. Michael K. Dodson, 31, co-pilot; 1st Lt. Joshua D. Shepherd, 25, navigator; 1st Lt. Robert D. Gerren, 32, electronic warfare officer; and Col. George Martin, 51, flight surgeon, who also was the deputy commander of 36th Medical Group at Andersen Air Force Base.
The crew was based at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. Flags were being flown at half-staff at the Louisiana state Capitol to honor them. They were deployed to Guam with the 20th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron as part of the U.S. military's continuous bomber presence mission in the Pacific.

My thought is he was murdered. Elmendorf has a FEMA camp that can hold 500K people and it also has been intercepting Russian planes of late (listen to Steve Quayle's Q-files). Also General Tinsley may have pieced together what was going on with the nuke and was trying to stop something. If you see a nuke go off anytime soon and it is blamed on AL-CIA-DUH a general who could have put everything together is now out of the way.

I live within 20 miles of Elmendorf -- and yet have seen no signs of said FEMA camp the internet websites claim exists. I have scanned google earth images and found nothing as well.

Or...his involvement in the nuke incident could have resulted in his being blackmailed into doing something he was adamantlly opposed to and suicide was preferable.

A friend of mine came from his memorial service and told me this:

"He apparently had an argument with his family about his drinking and how it affected his wife and daughter. Shot himself in the chest with a handgun."

General Tinsley was the best WG Commander I have ever known, which makes this whole affair extremely confusing. I've spent days scouring the internet for clues and keep seeing references to his Moseley ties, the Minot-Barksdale debacle, and the 9/11 NORAD stand-down, and am not convinced.

Now to add on top of the heap, is the Operation Garden Plot site at ELMO. Somebody, anybody, post a lat/long for this and I'll happily go confirm its existence tomorrow, but for now I agree with a previous poster that a site for 500K+ isn't hidden on or near ELMO. Prove me wrong, I haven't got a dog in this fight, I just want to know the FACTS...

As for Col Walberg's comments: All of the comments that I've seen stem from a news conference that happened at 1400 on the 28th, a mere 16 hours after the General's death. Considering that Col Walberg stated that he had just gotten into bed when the phone rang announcing the shooting, that means he'd been up all day already, let's assume he got up at 0800 on the 27th, the day of the General's death. With that assumption, by the time the news conference took place, Col Walberg had been up 30 hours straight, which even in the best of circumstances I would bet most of you wouldn't be at your most coherent, now add on that you're going in front of a room full of media and that you witnessed the grisly scene of your close friend and commander dead. Of course Col Walberg knows what kind of weapon it was; he was one of the first people on scene. Of course he knows if there was a note or not. Of course he knows more than he told us. IT'S HIS RESPONSIBILITY NOT TO DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION!!! He was following orders from above not to disclose whatever he did or didn't see. I worked very closely with both Tinsley and continue to work closely with Walberg, and as PA said in a press release, Tinsley was great in front of a crowd. Not so much for Walberg; he's a phenomenal man, but he's not a front man, hence the reason he was the vice commander. He is a simple, to the point kind of guy that prefers to be the "behind-the-scenes" guy. I'm sure he wanted to say exactly what he knew, but he's following the rules. There's a media clamp down until the AF pathology team has worked up a full report, which could take up to a month.

Now there are lots of theorists that will rubbish this report, no matter its outcome and scream conspiracy!! But from my point of view, there are several "peons" that already know the truth that aren't part of any inner circle that would undoubtedly blow the cover-up whistle if the pathology report is faked. Off the top of my head, you've got:

Alert Photographer: This is usually one of the lower enlisted guys on the totem pole on a Sunday Night when this event happened. The alert photographers comes from a comm background, probably living in the barracks with other comm geeks, most of whom spend the majority of their non-duty hours blogging about this and that. Security Clearance Required: At least Secret, not sure if it's higher

Security Forces (SP): More young guys that are going to talk about what they saw; working in a flight of 20-30 other adrenaline junkies. You think they don't all know already? Security Clearance Required: Secret (less vetting than a bank teller)

Paramedics/Fire: Same as SP, except maybe not as many on shift. But the fire dogs work 24on-24off schedules, these guys have more time to gossip than a church bridge club. Security Clearance same as SP

So is a cover up possible? Sure, but not very likely considering that up to 100 lower ranking enlisted folks with minimal security clearances already know the truth. Let's see what the AF pathologists have to say before we get too far out there.

Need to pay very serious attention to this one. Confirmation from the highest level of "energetic read" input. Everyone dead, huh? You do know how many people that would involve. All the SPs on the flightline, the BB stackers working munitions area, the guys loading the aircraft, the maintenance personnel that were working that aircraft, the aircrew flying it, all the Current Ops guys working the command post, etc?

And they are all dead? I think that would probably be mentioned somewhere if that many guys suddenly wound up dead.

If you are a low level person who might be a danger of exposing who you are receiving illegal orders from, you can disappear.
High profile people have to commit suicide, or have a believable accident.
One of my brothers got into trouble over this sort of thing.
He was the best weapons guy and specialized in bomb loading in the Air Force. He got sent to Korea and given a strange assignment, to rig up a nuclear bomb on a commercial plane. It was supposed to do some kind of sneak attack on North Korea.
To convince him to do it, they had President Reagan talk to him on the phone to give him a direct order. He is an ethical person and told them he would not do it. I think they tryed some sort of mind control on him, as plan B. Apparently that did not work out and they ended up trying to erase his memory.
He was gone for six months that he has no explanation for. When he got back home he asked for a discharge. He ended up having private meetings with the commander of Edwards Air Force Base. I think she might have been checking him out to see what he knew or what he might say.
I guess he did a good job of convincing these people that he had no memory of anything that happened in Korea or that he was ever there.

Let's not forget his last assignment was as Exec Officer to Gen Mosly who was also involved in many unethical housing contract deals at base's in Alaska. Then I also believe he was linked to Sen Stevens, thats enough to make anyone want to kill themselves!
