That sort of thinking defies logic.
Why should they go cap in hand to others and have to pay whatever the going rate is for nuclear fuel when they have the raw materials, and the means of processing it, themselves?
For all the crowing about Iran's nuclear ambitions, there is still not one shred of evidence that they are pursuing a weapons programme. All we have is innuendo, "expert opinion"and scare mongering in the press and by politicians (on behalf of Israeli lobbyists).
As a signatory to the NPT they have every right to develop their own power plants and the fuel to operate them.
