Anti-Obama smears, just right wing speculation, Neo-con propaganda

I think a lot of these smears would stop if you quit bringing them back up. People are going to believe what they want to believe. Sometimes Obama's or McCain's action or lack of action gives people reason to believe such smears. The only way anyone can find out the truth is to do their own research. A lot of people make good points on this thread about both candidates. But I always do extra work to make sure that those points are valid.

I don't see this site as a place where you try to convince others to vote for your guy. I see this site as a place where you voice your opinion, with facts if possible, and have a lively debate with people who see things different from you.
In the process, a lot is learned.

And you will always have somebody who posts a thread just to get an argument going. If your up for the argument then go for it. If not, skip the thread or find one that deals with real issues.
