Dog Fishing

Seen yesterday. Pretty funny actually.

Reel 'em in boys and girls!

I can't quite make out what's going on...

I know.

Those crazy dog walkers.

Maybe it's like the Shriners, where they drive around in little cars.

Maybe they're in training for the Olympics for the AKC?

More tails of the Dogfishers, a stalwart bunch who are in it for the skill and the battle of wits.

Here she senses the quarry has accepted the bait and it's only a matter of setting the hook.

She pulls hard, but has to get her hips into it:



This one is tough, and appears to be glued to the trail.

Getting a foot back and bracing, we're in for quite a prolonged struggle!



Now it's really getting tough but the determined fisherwoman is going to master this one.

One of the more skilled canine anglers gives a virtuoso display of the traveling reel
and finishing with a dazzling cross body hip heist to land the pesky hound.

At first I thought this was a weird alien space dog or even a pet cheeta!

The competition is heating up folks! We'll have the finale next week and pick an over all winner and a 'best in show'.
