$800.00 for a house?

This cannot be this cheap, somethings up with this.

This house is just blocks away from where I am living now. There are other homes here that are in the neighborhood of 20k-60k

I guess they are foreclosures. I don't exactly know what that means. Is this some sort of set up? I mean if the property taxes haven't been paid can I pay them off over time or do I have to pay them all at once?

I mean if you were to take out a0 30 year mortgage on $800.00 it would come out to bout $3.94 Per Month. I think I could swing that.

So what do you all think? Is there something shady with this ad? Or is this like stealing a house?

A serial chicken/goat rapist probably use to live there and boink there...

It sold in January of this year for 29,000
Back in the 80's it sold for 40,000

Someone is possibly just cutting their losses, or there are some unmentioned fees of taxes owed on the property.

Check the Wayne county assessors office..There is more info available.

I had found a house not too far away for 20k, which seemed cheap, looking around there are many many houses on the market here for around the 20k price.

This just blew me away! I couldnt believe my eyes. I contacted the realitor in this via Email, I am waiting on some more information.

If it's truely $800.00 im jumping on it. That's for sure.

Or it could be an old fashioned misprint!

In Mastic, New York there were houses that low as well, not there any more though.

I dunno, it could very well be a typo, I contacted the real estate agency to find out what is going on.

My guess is that you pay the 800, and then some other taxes, and then you take over the Payment on the house already...


Right now, if you have money, its the time to buy houses... and land....

thats it im buying houses in the US
at £400 a piece i can easily make it back in renting them to holiday makers

Its probably $800 and you have a 20k mortgage ontop of that, wich ws unpaid by the previous occupiers.

I would guess you would be buying into a mortgage, it in my opinion is a sneaky way to sell mortages
