Hey guys I couldn't really think of a good topic name (clearly) but I was watching the Discovery Channel and I noticed that they are playing 2 shows
tonight based on UFO's. What stunned me were the names. One was called "Strangest UFO stories: Do aliens rule the earth?" and "The truth about
Roswell" , or something like that. Anyway, I kind of found this strange. Any other views?

I will be watching these shows. I am personally waiting for the second season of UFO Hunters on History Channel. They were allowed to dig up a well
and will test the material to see if there is anything to the Aurora 1897 story.

Can't find any of these shows on Discovery Channel, however I can find them on Discovery Science, so guess thats the channel you meant all
along?
Or perhaps it's just in my country they show it on DS instead of DC?

I am not a big tv watcher but I will take a look at one of those shows at least tonight if I can. I have noticed a dramatic increase in media
coverage lately even though no disclosure has happened yet officially at least not here in the states. In addition to that it seems that sightings are
increasing dramatically as well. It could be that the increase in sightings is responsible for the media outburst or it could be just a ratings
stunt.. and furthermore it could even be part of a disinfo campaign that will end in an even bigger setback for disclosure.
Its really hard to say, We will not know until the time comes I suppose.
It is possible that the number of sightings has not actually increased, but rather just that the documentation and recording of sightings has
increased. Sadly the number of hoaxes has increased along with it.
I still feel despite the fact that it may seem naive, but I feel that disclosure is coming whether they like it or not.. I think that they are running
out of time and keeping it all secret is becoming impossible.
But thats just my humble opinion.

I looked on the Discovery channel website and they don't show any of the shows you are talking about. I checked their schedule for this entire week
and nothing. Perhaps the lineup is different here in the states.

Most of these shows that have been mentioned on this thread are readily available on Google Video. Take a trip over and check.

At least here were I live, in Norway, we have Discovery Channel, Discovery World, Discovery Science and Discovery Travel&Living.
So Discovery Science and Dicovery Channel are two different channels, but it might only be like this in Europe perhaps? I woudln't know anything
spesific for shure there...
And also like Smugallo says, just Google It at Google Video and you should be able to find them there as well as a lot of other docs.

That's whatever I think of when I hear "Shark Week" being discussed.
As for aliens... if you build it, they will come.

Didn't you guys here the news? It's no longer called "The Discovery Channel." The new name is "The Deadliest Catch Channel." They're going
to play "Deadliest Catch" all day until 3:00 AM, and then a couple hours of some show called "Paid Programming" until they resume "Deadliest
Catch." I thought everyone knew this.

The History Channel has various UFO shows on all day today, one right after the other, until 6pm eastern. It started at 9am. For those of you who
have Directv, it's channel 269.
EDIT: Apparently, it's a UFO hunter marathon.
