Whenever I look on a thread it says "posted on 06/03/2008", whenever i look when people registered it says "registered: 06/03/2008", whenever i
look on "the discussion forum thread list" it says that the last post was on 06/03/2008. What is with the 06/03/2008, its everywhere, is this
happening to anybody else?

With the ever growing ATS membership, it is more likely that you are just observing the same numbers because that is what you recognize. I doubt it is
of any significance other than that.
It's like when you buy a new vehicle. Before you buy that car or truck, you don't see that many of them around. BUT, as soon as you take it home,
they appear everywhere. It is just a number that you might have seen and remembered, then noticed on chance. Pretty sure that's about it.

06/03/2008 for me is on EVERYONEs registered date, posted on and last post and it is on every thread and every board, EVERYONE. I'm not saying that
this is a conspiracy or something else, I just wanna know how I can fix it so that everything that I am viewing is current. I will also check in
tomorrow to see if it's the same date. I'm sure that everyone hasn't registered to this site on this date.

On an off the wall possibility you might be having difficulties with your browser. Try shutting it down and restarting it. Maybe that could help. If
you still have the same issues, then yeah, post some examples and go from there.

Wow. That's really strange. First time I've seen something like this!?
I have no answer to the question. This one's for the Tech guys up top...
Edit: Taking a wild stab here, but do you perhaps have some Spyware software like Spybot Search & Destroy installed?
Also, what browser and operating system do you use?

I have Norton AntiVirus, not really sure if that counts. I also use Internet Explorer and FireFox, all up to date, and the same thing happens with
both browsers. And my operating system is Windows XP.

Do tech guys read posts to, like Moderators or do I have to U2U or summon them some way?

With "tech guys" I mean SkepticOverlord. He usually visits BB&Q (this forum) so he should spot this one.

Under the "MemCenter" link on the navigation bar, there is an option for "date format". I just tried putting in a random date there, instead of
"mm/dd/yyyy" or some variation that it is expecting to see, and got the same effect you are getting. Perhaps you have that set to a numerical date
instead of the format it is expecting?

It's entirely possible that your date format could be off, but this is definitive proof that you are not crazy. Thank you.
On one hand, I've been here since 04, so that isnt' right, and I agree that one of the tech guys should U2U you and try to resolve this matter if
your format is correct and you can't seem to figure it out.
Very strange incident. Good luck getting it figured out.
By the way, I don't mind the publicity. Most of my threads die in 10 minutes anyway.

Duh, Duh Duh Duh, Duh Dummm! Thanks everyone, my issue is half resolved, the post are current but it says that everyone has registered on 07/23/2008,
I always like to see when everyone is registered so I know how long people have been here. And since that I'm in different time zones from mostly
everyone else I'm not sure if the posted on date is the date from when other users post or it just goes off of my own time zone. I also wonder if the
date will change tomorrow to my current date. We will just have to see. And thank you for the recommendation on the free Spybot, I'm sure it will
come in very handy for me. Since I didn't join in 03, I was wondering where that date came from, did ATS establish in 03? And, lol, did u guys think
I was crazy. Well I can see where it is hard for everyone to distinguish the sane from the crazy people. Well thanks again for your guys help!

You need to change it to "mm/dd/yyyy" (no quotes). The site will insert the month, day, and year. Hope this helps.
