Disclosure 2009? What do you think?

Over the last week or so this site has been awash with trolls posting threads that are clearly hoaxes so I thought I would start one that has some meaning to not only myself but to ATS.

Disclosure

I was talking with my work colleagues the otherday about how Disclosure process would start, we soon came up with all sorts of scenarios heres a few to list.

1. 'They' will say they have found some form of life on mars, be it plantlife, insect, animal e.t.c.

2. 'They' will de-classify paperwork where top scientists around the world decypher

3. 'They' will broadcast on television the fact that they have received communication

4. S.E.T.I will receive a signal that they can translate.- Probably our favourite.

I personally believe that disclosure will start to unravel about this time next year around July/August 2009

What are your opinions?
How do you think the Disclosure will start?
What would be the outcome?
How will life change because of it?

Not a hope in hell of Disclosure in 2009 , I wouldn't even bet it being anytime in the next 10 years either..
If it does happen in 2009 I'll eat my laptop.....

I think that disclosure has already started but its not going to be complete by 2009!

* The admitted presence of water on the moon and mars was the start of it.
* The vatican releasing a statement about the existence of intelligent life - our brothers!
* The amount of daily sightings and video postings.
* The sixth astronaut on the moon recently stating that he is not afraid to talk about ET's anymore.. on Kerrang Radio!
* The excessive media UFO coverage.
* The new space race.
* The sudden surge for destruction of rights in the most powerful nations to tighten control.
* The amount of detailed information and video's showing evidence of how mankind's greatest civilizations were borne of Alien intervention.

The most logical lead up to the start of full disclosure is what is happening at the moment. But it is happening very slowly, 2009 is too early.

Why "Not a hope in hell", theres alot going on at the moment don't you think?

I've been waiting for 40 years for disclosure. Anytime someone rises to the top of the UFO community they get exposed for not being who or what they say they are. To me whats been disclosed is that much of what we see are black ops. Our own air craft that we don't get to know about. The friend of a friend, hes a insider stuff just seems to be full of confusion. Really what difference would it make if the government said yea they are real. Who would believe them? I don't think it would change my life except to be able to say told you so. If they have been here for 60 years, the only thing thats happened for me is that it harder to survive everyday. What ever they may have shared with us has been turned against us. Maybe not their plan but the powers that be use any thing they get for weapon's or controlling people...bil

there is no more going on today.. than there was 50 yrs ago..... these things run in cycles .. hell,, we had it on the radio...and t.v.. everyday back in the 50 and 60s.. new coverage.. with people that supposedly talked with the aliens..and took rides with them.. etc. etc.. just the same ole.. same..

Like the other posters have put , 'Disclosures' been going on for years, for the Governments of the world to suddenly turn around and say "we'll tell all" is never going to happen. They want to keep all their little dirty secrets secret until this generation is dead as we all know we've been set up for the big drop and we know who did it.
The next generation won't really care as they'll be acclimatised to whatever world the Governments leaves behind.
Its like the JFK assassination , those files are to be 'released'/'opened'/ 'Disclosed' 75 years after the event so those who orchastrated it are dead and beyond prosecution. same as 'Disclosure' for UFO's.
So when the next generation that follows ours is sold into slavery of one form or another those currently in power cant be jailed (sorry for saying slaery but I almost believe in the Terra Papers, ( and I dont care if people flame me for it)..
And I agree that there is a lot of sightings going on at present but how many hoaxes are going on by people jumping on the bandwagon. I remember all this happening 10 years ago. A lot of sightings, everyone excited shouting 'Disclosure is happening' And we're no further forward or more aware of whats going on now and as we're then.
SO yes if ' Disclosure' and I ain't talking little childrens drawinds as recently forwarded by the UK MOD , I'm talking FULL Disclosure then I'll eat my laptop with ketchup and fries....

Thats not strictly true, this year has been a tremendous year for ufology and IMHO things are starting to happen, pretty much like 'Dermo' said. Also the TAO9 agreement is supposed to come to end next year which will be very interesting indeed. Admittedly there is also alot of complete crap floating around the net polluting the minds of others with their hoaxes and B/S but also there is alot coming out from the military which puts another spin to all of this. Theres so much happening at the moment every level within levels are so confused with whats going on at the mo. I suppose we shall wait and see

Disclosure will never happen.If they disclose it they have to admit they lied.
And they will never admit they lied.
They will just continue to control it and suppress it and some people will get to find out but it will never be released publiclly.
And besides its not what the majority of sheep want to hear on the news.
They want to hear about how they can more enslave themselves into debt by buying the latest overpriced electronic gadget.
I think if Aliens hijacked the tv's and radio's and said "Hi we are here look aliens see."
Most would say its a hoax, many wouldn't even care, and the governments would laugh and not comment.

I think disclosure is already happening. They already know mars was once a planet that could of suported life. I watch the science channel alot and read up on science news and I read that they found many planets that are earth like. So i believe that they already started to disclose the fact that we are not alone.

Well I've lost hope in disclosure. They have too much to lose.

Given the rate of success on other predictions about disclosure, I would recommend you don't hold your breath.

Every year is supposedly a tremendous year for UFOlogy, and great things are supposedly always happening. Year after year we hear this, hear about how disclosure is just around the corner. And nothing ever comes of it. We are no closer now than we were 50, 60 years ago. The believers need to stop worrying about disclosure, and start thinking of two other possibilities: either disclosure is never coming, or these is nothing to disclose; it may be the government(s) are just as in the dark as we are.

I agree to a point. I agree they'll never admit that they lied and covered things up, but i do believe they will s-l-o-w-l-y release information and see how the public reacts. The ice on mars thing was certainly not the first, but just a bigger niblet that they gave us. If I was to guess, i'd say we'll get bigger and bigger niblets over the next 10/20 years, until its been so slowly revealed that it doesnt really shock anyone.

its a very different time then it was back then.
how many people have the internet? that's instant, worldwide communications.
people are also, at least in the US, a lot less "afraid" or blindly obedient of the Gov't.. So the fear tactics work less and less.

by the time disclosure actually happens it will be nothing more than an event to inform the skeptics/debunkers to finally become believers. by that time it should be about 2% of the popluation

disclosure day wow, but hey, as the new generation arises, its up to us to make it happen, but first the planet really needs to go green.

There's no such thing as "disclosure."

Disclosure means that somebody with authority (the government or whoever) tells you something that you already believe, and provides you with proof that you're right.

Never mind that authority would probably...
... not tell you exactly what you believe. There will be some catch.
... tell you The Truth, but it won't be what you believe.
... tell you exactly what you believe, but the proof won't add up.
... only tell you part of The Truth, leaving you to suspect that another "real" disclosure is needed.

Disclosure is an endless loop of hoping for some kind of verification with which you will never, ever be satisfied.

I think in 2012, look out for a fake alien invasion as one of there last cards. They have gone mad, its getting harder and harder for them to convince even the dumb down masses of there lies.

So 2012 fake alien invasion, NWO comes in as the good guys, justifying there reasons for keeping it secret.

How about July/August 2008? Dr Edgar Mitchell has recently admitted that aliens exist.

Why are people in denial? Disclosure is happening right now. It has to be a slow process, because if it happens too fast, a lot of people won't cope with it.

People, if you won't believe an astronaut, you're not going to believe anyone, are you?
