could we really end up in a world that is infested with zombies?

There's a webcomic called dead.winter. It's a fun story, and this thread particularly reminds me of one of the comics. If it's still sctive on Tuesday when I get back to work, I'll post a link to the particular one I'm thinking of.

Yeah, they are. They are prepping us for zombies, aliens, taking over Mount Olympus, Zombie Vampires, and whatever else is popular in games right now.
Just like movies are prepping us for spies, zombies, aliens, monkies, robots, pirates, space monkies, and Will Shatner.
It's a game, or movie. Go outside and play. It's healthy.

This is also a fun page for those that want to see what its like to have a zombie problem in the world.....oh and by the way, it is fictional
