Notepad to express

Ever been watching a YouTube vid, or other conspiracy video.. and thought about if you were being cataloged as watching it?


How far in left field would it be that what you are looking at on your screen is seen somewhere else?

It may mean you are on a special list now.. but so what... express yourself to those that are watching.

be heard in any way you can.

I know that if I have thought it... others have.

They underestimate us.

Open your notepad... tell them you know they are watching.

That's actually pretty realistic. I used to hijack the Grid Server desktops from home and yank the mouse pointer away from the research assistants who were actually seated in front of the screen. Hehehe. Sometimes, I would pull up risque pictures from the web browser while they were out to lunch, so that when they came back in it would look like that's what they had been watching. Who says computer science isn't fun?

I agree. We are monitored at work... at schools.... why not at home?

The technology is there.

It would only take certain keywords or keystrokes to be flagged.

Paranoia?.. maybe. Who is to say?

i have thought it. i just always wonder how the heck they would process so much info? or at what point would the input overload the circuit if you know what i mean. but you are definitely not alone in thinking that.

Not far off thinking at all. It's actually all to easy to break into someones computer and watch what they are doing. That we are logged on some of our internet use is allready common knowledge if you have paid attention to news on that matter.

re22666: I guess they might have different servers handeling differenat parts of the world, logging activity and that are set to act on some keywords or websites. Actually it's not to much machinepower thats needed to keep track of the keylogging in itself, since the information sendt from each keystroke is minimal considering the todays computerpower.

TwiTcHomatic, I'll say that it's paranoia not to think that we're keept under big brothers eye. The thinking is pure realistic thinking, at least to some sort of degree.

If they log everyone watching a sertan YouTube video I don't know since so many can just bump into that video clicking around on YouTube, bu hey.. who am I to know... the world is a F'd up place as it is, so who knows whats going on behind the curtains.

They do have the technology to catch thouse who distribute child porn or piracy movies online, so why not use such a technology for other uses as well? I guess that the technology for doing thoose things are primitive in comparison to what the elite can do if they want to.

It's actually a pretty scary thought that your "never alone" anymore. No matter where you are, there's allmost a change someone can "watch" you if they really want to.

The digital world have opened a lot of doors for many great things, but it's also opened a part of Pandoras box with it.

ok, now lets go with that for a moment. how many guys do you think it would take to monitor just my zip code? keyword tracking software? ok what words? terrorism? jihad? war? the list of 'keywords' has to be huge, then you multiply that by the number of times those words come up in conversation, especially anyone discussing the news or world events, and by the number of people saying those words. ok now no matter how sophisticated this software is, just imagine how many 'hits' would be generated every second via email, text messages, PM's, and so on.
just in my little office today, four emails came through that were sent to depts. i saw the word bomb 4 times, attack twice, and even, yes Islam, once. i work in advertising. none of these emails had to do with anything malicious but even in context, bomb and attack have targets and modus operendi. so in just my little office, between the senders and recipients, over 7 hundred emails went out today with those keywords. how many people do you think it would take to look over the results and investigate farther any 'hits' in 700 emails? ok now remember, that is just my little office. we make up 3% of the total population of my office complex. so how many peope must monitor my office complex? no matter how sophisticated the software, either it will produce hits that need to be investigated on a scale beyond the scope of reality or...that software is throwing out so many bad 'hits' that it is not really delineating anything of any substance. i am just saying, with the population, the amount of communications between them, goes way beyond anythng feasable when you think that they are listening to everything. all i have to do is write a story about a jihad, slip it into an email about something, accidentally send it to a dept instead of one person and bam, they have 300 emails people are recieving with suspicious content. in one click, one guy, in one office, just generated 300 suspicious emails. you really think that they have anything that could handle the actual number of interceptable communications that happen each and every day?
hey, if it sounds like im just arguing to shut you down, i do not mean to seem rude. i am just saying, this is how i look at it. thats all.

i mean look at the child porn and pirated movies. do you know how much they actually catch compared to how much is reported to be out there? how many people do you know with pirated software and movies that have not been caught? there is soo much that slips through, they always hope that if they catch some by luck, make examples of them, it will scare the rest because both child porn and pirating far outreach the scope of the law. they cannot track even a small percentage of it. that is why they hope you are too afraid to be that one guy that does get caught. now would these same folks then be using money, manpower, time to monitor everyone but then only randomly bust child pornogrpahers and pirates at such a low percentage as to almost encourage the activity more than hamper it? just saying.
