Sorry, that is cruel of me. If you were really crying over that footage I suggest you have had an emotional reaction based on a false assumption. Get a low quality camera and film some distant fires at night and I assure you that your mistake will become obvious.

i cant see the vid her at school youtube is blocked but i did see some screenshots and for some reason the image looks altered its almost like he used a webcam from home but im sure it was a new camcorder and even with an older one the quality isnt always that bad so ya its good to ask questions

I agree with you completely, I really dont see anything definitive here. It seems like all of the video out there is of such crappy quality that once again all we have is an interesting film of some kind of light.
Kind of like the Phoenix, Ar. light phenomenon. As a former military person who used to work on our latest aircraft and peripheral technology, these are almost certainly marking flares used by A-10's for night time close-air-support training exercises. I've seen them do that dozens of times.
Believe me I REALLY want to believe in the existence of E.T.'s and the like ,but in 20 years of research I personally have NEVER seen anything that was what I would call definitive.
As scientist I challenge anyone to SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE.
And the Drake Equation doesnt count.

Wow thats seriously some good footage, i've been up that way to the twin citys a few times, pretty flat as the others are stating, and the day and night photos really show that was was captured on video was indeed in the air... hovering...

Quick rant...

For the past few weeks i've been walking home from work, 10pm - 1030pm lookin up at the sky, in parts of my city here in ontario they're is many parks where street lighting isn't around, giving a better view of the night sky, i've seen many weird anomalys in sky like lights and things zippin by, not thinking anything of it but 4 nights ago I seen a cluster of lights, best I remember being blue white and red, real close together almost in a triangle shape but close together, each flashing sequentually and then bam it was gone... I stopped and looked, it never came back, I thought it was a plane or something in the distance, but it wouldn't just disappear in a flash either, clear sky, moon clearly visible... odd, wasn't really freaked out or anything due to it only looking like a few lights in the sky but I was shocked to see it vanish, made me stop and think to myself if I had just witnessed something other then a plane in the sky...

I wish I could see a better quality of this video but this is what I see from what is presented:

The speaker's friend see that the speaker is eager and wanting to see UFO's. The only validation he really gives as to the authenticity of the footage is that he has known the guy who filmed it for four years...coincidental or convenient that the guy who filmed it is friends with a guy who speaks at ufo conferences. Why didn't the guy speak for himself?

This has set the stage for a good prank on the eager ufo hunter.

This is what I see from the grainy footage, it is an illusion similar to the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney World...I'll explain.

The "friend" is filming towards the streetlamp THROUGH a piece of clear glass. The "ufo" is a reflection of a lightsource that is actually coming from inside the same room as the cameraman. After watching the tape several times and especially the zoom in, zoom out sequence I started to see something familiar.

If you look closely, the misty stuff people are saying is smoke is actually a right hand held parallel to the floor. Count the number of lights and location in relation to the fingers on your hand. Notice how one seems like its dropped back in aboout the same position where a thumb would be? The lights that are being displayed are known as raver rings or light fingers, which ever method they used.

So anyway, I hope to see a better quality version of this but for now, it's the filmed reflection of a lightsource in a dark room to give the illusion of distance trick.

I used to have dreams when i was younger of walking outside and seeing the star wars battle ships flying low over my head in the sky, real slow and just hundreds of them, it was a crazy dream, but of course it was from watching Star Wars too many times

Let me disagree...

First of all you accuse this man of being a liar, if you do then seeing him sweat is not proof enough, maybe the room he was in was hot, just maybe.

Some sweating is not a proof of anything.

Most UFO videos are not that clear, you know why??.

Because they are most times taken with a cell phone, or an amateur camera, it would be very suspicious to find footage taken with a professional camera.

Another thing, you say this man supposedly had to start screaming that he saw a UFO and go wake up everyone in the neighbourhood, once again I think you are wrong.

Most people when they see a UFO freeze up with fear, after all it is an event no one is waiting for, why would someone be prepared to see a UFO, what would be an acceptable reaction to you?.

It is in my opinion not some kind of chopper and it looks also not some fire on a mountain to me, but because of the darkness it is very difficult to say what it really is.

I just re-watched the video and agree it could be the reflection of a hand wearing those rings. The shape of the "object" is very much like a hand if one looks closely at the shape and not the lights. Good catch - I'm going to have to state this video is a hoax.

unless he was on a very elevated position, but the angulation of the lamp would need to be explained, in this case: of course i can't rule it out, just pointing out the actual scenario of the sighting (IF it is), and i have to add that the perspective is (slightly) different.

Hoax or not the ufo orb type does give off a kind of fire when looked ta close on. These things were not called Foo Fighters, the Foo being like fire in French for no reason. The ufo orb gives off like a fire especially the amber/orange variety.

Well, I heard many explanations for a UFO so far such as swamp gas, balloons, Venus and on, but this one isn’t bad also.
Suppose it was really a hand with laser lights on every fingertip, then that person may wished that he or she had your hand then [avatar] because in that case he could mounted so many more lights to make look that thing even look much bigger and therefor much more impressive.

Good job there at amateur debunking I see so much of. Of course, this film hasn't been studied by experts, "Research coming from this area is got to be some of the best scientific, actual scientific, research" Real research as opposed to the psuedo-science debunking by the like of Bill Nye. Arizona Research group is just a bunch of retards, as all researchers are. Whoever nominated this for the ufo footage of the year, which it won, was also so foolish as well.

Maybe its because I'm an artist and used to recognizing shapes, like water ripples against rocks on mars, that biologists and others consider real anomalies, suggesting current water, rather than some kind of imprint of where water once was, like Nasa's official statements. The ripples are impossible if not current standing water, and my eyes immediately detect things like that, including the disc shaped outline in this footage, though large enough to be called a battleship, it definately looks recognizable. I agreed it didn't seem aero-dynamic.
