I wish I could see a better quality of this video but this is what I see from what is presented:
The speaker's friend see that the speaker is eager and wanting to see UFO's. The only validation he really gives as to the authenticity of the
footage is that he has known the guy who filmed it for four years...coincidental or convenient that the guy who filmed it is friends with a guy who
speaks at ufo conferences. Why didn't the guy speak for himself?
This has set the stage for a good prank on the eager ufo hunter.
This is what I see from the grainy footage, it is an illusion similar to the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney World...I'll explain.
The "friend" is filming towards the streetlamp THROUGH a piece of clear glass. The "ufo" is a reflection of a lightsource that is actually coming
from inside the same room as the cameraman. After watching the tape several times and especially the zoom in, zoom out sequence I started to see
something familiar.
If you look closely, the misty stuff people are saying is smoke is actually a right hand held parallel to the floor. Count the number of lights and
location in relation to the fingers on your hand. Notice how one seems like its dropped back in aboout the same position where a thumb would be? The
lights that are being displayed are known as raver rings or light fingers, which ever method they used.
Here's a link since the page won't let me get the pic.
Get five red ones and a gullible friend and you can win an award.
So anyway, I hope to see a better quality version of this but for now, it's the filmed reflection of a lightsource in a dark room to give the
illusion of distance trick.
