The FBI's resistance to the inquiry perhaps has to do with their lab's poor track record?

Imaging discovering that they were not as accurate as they claimed? Sure DNA is an identifier, but what if the lab repeatedly overstated their ability to match them? Think some ex-cons will be teed-off? What about liability? The Feebies are in trouble I wonder?
