How do I get into RATS for free?

Meh, RATS is what we make it. I had much the same reaction, but, I dug down deep a few times and there are some great threads going back a bit.

ok, have more then 5000 points... and still the 404 error

i did read somewhere this entry into RATS has to be bought with points?

is this true? where do i go....
