Beijing Olympic Park to be used as emergency shelter

BEIJING: Beijing’s Olympic park will serve as an emergency shelter in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack on the Games, Chinese state media said Saturday.
The city’s Olympic Committee has prepared 300 sleeping bags and 50 “huge” tents, Xinhua news agency said

I find it worrying they are preparing sleeping bags and tents just in case!! Or is it the fear factor they want to keep everyone in line??
