I have noticed this member before as they have made some really good points but I too have noticed contradictions that go unanswered. I particularly asked why the member said they were from the UK then later the US. This was in a thread about fuel prices.

Just my small point.

You should notice the signature though.

Yes but when I posted anonymously my replies didn't come under that member...so it looks like it is a member, I don't know but I think it is weird.

This profile is probably a shared user account that is utilzed by all of the ATS staff. I dont see how ATS owners, administrators, or whoever would let this guy hack their site to change the last visited date and whatever he wants. I have noticed this profile on ATS now for quite some time and have began wondering about it myself. Good thread, maybe some light will be shed on the issue and we will learn who is behind "Anonymous ATS".

I suppose that any of us ATS members could log out and post anonymously and that probably accounts for some of the more controversial posts.

My question is why is it that many or most times when I look at "myATS" there is an anonymous post listed as the last post but then when I go to read it, it's not there, disparu, gone! What do I have to do to bring it back from the ether? Am I the only one to experience this?

the annon posts are subject to APPROVAL of staff before they actually show up in the threads. Sooooo you WILL SEE annon posters listed in your 'MY ATS"as the last post, but then it was judged that the post was not good enough in the eyes of the staff to warrant actual placement in the intended thread, so when you go to the thread it is not really there.

They (the staff) are in no way, going to just let people come on this site and post annon crapolla saying ANY DANG THING they feel like spewing and muddy up the threads with nonsense.

Thats is a interesting little site glitch that gives us all a bit of knowledge that a post was not allowed to show up. This way we can sorta glimpse the staff working behind the curtains, taking care of biz

NO! You are not the only one this has happened to. I have seen this several times with many of my threads. I see the last post by "Anonymous ATS" and when I go to read it, it is not there. WTF? It is strange indeed. Have also seen it with other threads, including this one about 5 minutes ago. AA has posted on here but when it said that AA's profile was the last to post and I looked, it was not! ????????

It's obvious the Anonymous account is a schizophrenic reptilian COINTELPRO disinformation agent sent here by the Christian fundie sponsors to spy on our activity.

I have photos with Linda Hamilton to prove it.

I too, have lost post from anon to the ether. I would like to know if my response to to the various anon is noted on their myATS? It's a sad commentary that members feel the need to use anonynousATS because of the bad .0001% of ATS'ers who harass people for what they believe.

I don't get it, are you joking? Because the Anonymous account is used by anyone who posts anonymously its not just 1 person.Its set up by the site admins for anonymous posting by anyone.And only allows 1 post in 24 hours or something per ip address.
