Priory of Sion

I have just finished reading Holy Blood, Holy Grail and while some of its arguments are rather weak, the big picture is still quite stunning. I've just bought The Messianic Legacy and I"m about to launch into that. However, I was wondering if anyone else had any other, contradictory evidence for or against the Priory of Sion that the book did not cover. I know that The DaVinci Code covered it, but I'm not so interested in fictional accounts.

I know of their relation to the Knight's Templar and the apparent relation to the Merovingian line. Is there any other information out there though that is contemporary? Like who currently head its up?
