For those that aren't familiar with Atlas Shrugged, it is a book published in 1957, and written by Ayn Rand, who was claimed to be one of Philip Rothschild's mistresses and heavily involved in the Illuminati.

It was claimed by John Todd that this book was codebook for the Illuminati, and that the book, although written as a novel, outlines the step-by-step plan of the Illuminati to take over the world by taking over America. The creation of a New World Order.

If you'd like more information on the book, and what John Todd said about it, you can find it here.

It seems that this book is now to be turned into a film starring Angelina Jolie:

Atlas Shrugged (2009)

Is someone trying to educate the masses on the Illuminati plan? It it being turned into a movie now because it rings so true with the current economic situation acorss the globe? Or, is it another case of Illuminati 'in your face' exposure that 99% of the population completely miss (oh, how they must laugh at us all)?

How appropriate that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are driving the project, and Angelina is set to star in it, when recently their bloodline connections have come to light:

Obama related to Pitt, Clinton to Jolie

Is this just a coincidence? Please see my signature for my opinion!

That's if it ever gets made! From IMDB, it says the director walked out. Now Angelina Jolie is denying he even had anything to do with it, even though there's interviews from as recently as May with him talking about the film's progress, not to mention reports of a signed contract.

From 'Atlas Shrugged' Loses Its Director

Here's where this story gets weird: Jolie has told MTV that Perelman was never attached to direct, despite the multiple reports that he signed a contract, the lack of immediate rebuttals of that story, and the director's own interviews talking about the progress of the film, one of which was conducted last month.

Is everyone of this bloodline a compulsive liar?

From the moment I read the book. I was filled with a repulsion for the thinly veiled elitist tripe that is was.

The notion that the baser instincts of the 'common' people need to be ,mediated and controlled by the 'gifted' elite made me shrug.

The one telling moment of the entire manuscript is the part where after decades of loyal devotion to the protagonist by her seeming 'awestruck' manservant, she simply walks away with a shallow 'good bye', as if she owed him nothing, not even the courtesy of recognizing his contribution to the success of her life, and went off to her new Utopian world with her 'piratesque' hero John Galt, the man with the gold bullion.

It is a work frequently demonstrating the phobia against 'people's movements,' 'organized labor', and the 'oh so common' people who resent the superiority of the elite breed.

Given Jolie is the pinup girl of the CFR, that question barely requires answering

I've been waiting to see this film cos the book made my stomach turn that I couldn't finish it. Coupled with that, the objectivists I've met (mostly online) have been among the most narcissistic dirt I've yet had the mispleasure of dealing with. en.wikipedia.org...(Ayn_Rand)

i am uncertain of the OP's attitude toward the book, and i have no idea what the negative critics here are on about. this book changed my life for the better. in fact, it is my #1 highest recommend book ever. for anyone that desires a clearer grasp on the way this world *really* functions. (although i am sure it will not get the treatment it deserves by hollywood.)

in the plotline, those that would be the NWO fail miserably, and the higher good of man succeeds. so, i do not understand how it could be misconstrued as a "planbook" of the illuminati?

also, i did not realise that ms rand had such underground ties...interesting.

Wow... I knew I should be watching Jolie for a reason after I found out she was in CFR. Something is definitely going on. But why did they choose her? I've yet to figure that out.

I like Ayn Rand actually. Good reading. But I never read Atlas Shrugged. Only read the other story... dangit I can't remember the title now. But it was the story that influenced Rush's "2112." It also kind of reminded me of Orwell's 1984. I'll definitely have to read Atlas Shrugged before the movie is made. I really hope it does get made, but it may be a few years before we get to see it since Jolie just popped out the babies.

I also really enjoyed "The Fountainhead" starring Gary Cooper from 1949. During his court speech, he even sounds like Ayn talking.
That speech video is on YouTube.

There are also a lot of videos Ayn Rand online, including a TV interview in black and white.

Cool.
Now we can find out who John Galt is.

Although I have seen similar monickas on the net.
I like the Gault spelling.

Yeah I think the rule of sell out any and all whenever possible is the NWO motto.

It happened to Tesla and is continuing with us.
Hitler was sold out in a way but they (Illuminati) kept him on.
There was too much power against Truman and the Intel community
is always followed.

Well except for Tenant and WMDs of mass hallucination's.
Uranium for the same place Germany found all they wanted in WWII.
Yeah, the NWO stamp is all over that situation.

Years from now perhaps the crimes of the Illuminati should make
a good movie.

Well, according to David Icke's "source", Angelina Jolie is set to be a zombie soon:

MIND-CONTROLLED "CELEBRITIES"

The appearance of certain people will be drastically altered. They will undertake surgical procedures to alter their appearance. And you may be aware there are certain people within your entertainment industry that undertake this manipulation of flesh, you call it cosmetic surgery don't you? Well that in itself is another insidious deception. It is just being done for vanity reasons. Appearance has to be altered because there is a much more insidious procedure being done at the same time. Certain of those you call celebrities are being genetically manipulated, this is being covered by claims that they undertake cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery is necessary to conceal exactly what is being done to them on a biological and genetic level.

And they shall start to proclaim themselves as wanting to undertake great actions of world healing, of world charity, manipulating the people to believe that a false peace is coming. …They will proclaim to the public and use their popularity to influence people to favour certain political and social changes.[Michael Jackson was one named mentioned in relation to this]. Celebrity status has always been used and used very often to try to persuade greater numbers of people to be favourable towards a political system. Some in the past of course have done this with the greatest of motives. But it is still manipulation.

David Icke: What is happening to them genetically, screened by the cosmetic surgery and why?

Alterations within the matter of brain. The brain will not allow the truer functions of the spirit and mind to interact with caporal flesh.

David Icke: Creating Zombies, in other words?

Oh yes. Oh yes. And if they strive to overcome this, they strive to resist this, things will be done in their lives that will bring them great discomfort. [ I was given details of a particular celebrity who has suffered in this way and is being prepared for use in the above Illuminati propaganda, but I was asked to keep these details to myself for now.]

Within the industry of entertainment, particularly that based in the United States, you will see that those who have agreed to comply, how their popularity seems to increase. They are being used as instruments to influence peoples of the world. You see politicians are becoming unbelievable. [People] are becoming aware that those who wear the mantle of politicians, for the greater part cannot be trusted. But because of the influence of technology, brainwashing technology, peoples have been persuaded to love and adore celebrities. Therefore, the great army of those that are without control of…[their minds]… come from those whom people have been persuaded to adore.

Sorry if it's a little far-fetched, but it sounded like they were talking about her.

BTW, I don't believe this stuff. Just some random junk to intake!

Here's part of Francisco's money speech. It's what is happening right now in America with the Federal Reserve

"Then you will see the rise of the men of the double standard--the men who live by force, yet count on those who live by trade to create the value of their looted money--the men who are the hitchhikers of virtue. In a moral society, these are the criminals, and the statutes are written to protect you against them. But when a society establishes criminals-by-right and looters-by-law--men who use force to seize the wealth of disarmed victims--then money becomes its creators' avenger. Such looters believe it safe to rob defenseless men, once they've passed a law to disarm them. But their loot becomes the magnet for other looters, who get it from them as they got it. Then the race goes, not to the ablest at production, but to those most ruthless at brutality. When force is the standard, the murderer wins over the pickpocket. And then that society vanishes, in a spread of ruins and slaughter.

"Do you wish to know whether that day is coming? Watch money. Money is the barometer of a society's virtue. When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion--when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing--when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors--when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you--when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice--you may know that your society is doomed. Money is so noble a medium that is does not compete with guns and it does not make terms with brutality. It will not permit a country to survive as half-property, half-loot.

"Whenever destroyers appear among men, they start by destroying money, for money is men's protection and the base of a moral existence. Destroyers seize gold and leave to its owners a counterfeit pile of paper. This kills all objective standards and delivers men into the arbitrary power of an arbitrary setter of values. Gold was an objective value, an equivalent of wealth produced. Paper is a mortgage on wealth that does not exist, backed by a gun aimed at those who are expected to produce it. Paper is a check drawn by legal looters upon an account which is not theirs: upon the virtue of the victims. Watch for the day when it bounces, marked, 'Account overdrawn.'

Very Interesting.

Angelina Jolie's connections grow stronger by the day.
I wouldn't be surprised if she became the first female President of the United States someday.

I don't see many other 'starlets' hob nobbing like this....

I actually really liked Atlas Shrugged, and if it ever gets made, I'd watch it. I think there is a really old version somewhere from like the 60s or 70s, but I haven't seen it. 30 seconds on IMDB should turn it up if I'm right, but I'm lazy.

Rand nailed a lot of the economic issues, and yeah, like others said, we're starting to see some of the concepts in her book come to pass.

I had no idea Ayn Rand was even considered part of the Illuminati. I find it hard to believe, after having read Atlas Shrugged, but I suppose it is possible.

Colin or Connie.... Illuminati front man and gal.

In charge of the Illuminati war machine is good for any resume.

Any documents in those Illuminati Vaults know Tesla's killer.
Soon Tesla's ether awareness in HHO gas will put an end to
the Illuminati oil biz. Good riddens. I shall toast the day.

I've never understood why Ayn Rand's opponents are so venomous. They throw around words like 'elitism' and 'snobbery' in reference to her philosophy and fiction. Excuse me, but what is elitist about a meritocracy? Galt's Gulch, or Rand's vision of utopia, is a meritocracy in the strictest way possible. I have never understood what problem people have with this.

Regarding the movie...like a previous poster said, it will probably be bad. 1st, the main character (Dagny) played by Jolie is not supposed to be beautiful. I doubt they will follow this part of the book while filming. 2nd, Jolie is not exactly known for her acting ability. 3rd, the entire premise of the book goes against Jolie's personal philosophy. How could someone do a character justice when they would hate that person in real life? It's like they couldn't have cast a more wrong actress...conspiracy perhaps, to make one of the greatest books ever written into one of the worst movies ever seen?

The Fountainhead movie was good, but that's because Rand wrote the screenplay. Atlas has never been made into a movie and this version of it should probably not be made because it will probably end up sucking.

To be truthful, i'm yet to read the book. But i'm definately going to buy it this weekend as my interest has flared after John Todd's claims. I'd also like to make up my own mind, cause there's some mixed views on this thread.

There is an official Atlas The Film website - www.atlasthefilm.com...

You can even join The Atlas Society! This sounds a bit weird to me:

The goal of The Atlas Society is to help create a new culture in our society, a culture that affirms and embodies the core Objectivist values of reason, individualism, freedom, and achievement. We seek to influence the course of debate and the climate of public opinion, and to recruit like-minded people to our cause.

OK, that's sounds alrright. I almost want to join just to see what the hell that is all about.

So, if you investigate them further:

From www.atlassociety.org...

Upholding the use of reason to transform nature and create wealth, Objectivism honors the businessman and the banker, no less than the philosopher and artist, as creators and as benefactors of mankind.

Ayn Rand was a champion of individual rights, which protect the sovereignty of the individual as an end in himself; and of capitalism, which is the only social system that allows people to live together peaceably, by voluntary trade, as independent equals

Hmmm. She honours the businessman and bankers as CREATORS and benfactors of mankind, and believes capatilism is the ONLY social system that lets us live together peacefully and as equals. I beg to differ there, love. It does sound kind of NWO/Illuminati-esque to me.

I have to disagree with you. The NWO is socialist in nature, not capitalist. Capitalism upholds rights whereas socialism destroys them. No, capitalism is not by any stretch of the imagination a perfect system, however it is it the best system we presently have on earth and the closest to perfect of any system currently in operation, IMO.

It's alwyas been popular to hate on the businessmen in society because people are dissatisfied with their own lives yet they would rather blame someone than improve their situation. Basically Ms. Rand is saying that without businessmen who create wealth, wealth would stop being created. Bureaucrats don't create wealth; they impede those who do create it. Without businesses, large and small, there would be no jobs. Think Cambodia, where people are lucky to be subsistence farmers. Think Russia pre militarization where almost every single person alive was a serf. Think China before it began to embrace capitalism. Just about everyone was dirt poor and life expectancy was below 50 years.

Embracing business does not mean embracing elitism and the NWO. Ms. Rand looked forward to the day when the government would be nothing more than a handfull of people to take care of only the most basic needs of the country, when people would depend on themselves rather than the government to meet their own needs, when there would be no need for a government other than to coordinate defense. Ayn Rand = smallest government imaginable. NWO = largest government imaginable.

The goal of the Atlas Society is to promote Ayn Rand's philosophy of objectivism through her works of fiction and nonfiction (she also wrote several philosophical treatises).

Socialism does not destroy rights. People destroy other people's rights. It is the people at the top controlling the system that create the problems, regardless of the social system we have in place. Plus centralisation of power and a huge support of capatilism by the NWO is not socialist in nature. A teacher at school once told me 'Communism works on paper, it's those in control that corrupt it'. I was amazed cause i'd always been brainwashed with communism=bad. After researching it i can see she was right. But anyways, that's a debate for a whole other thread

I must say that you have intigued me in you viewpoint of Ayn Rand, her work and her outlook, sc2099. I'll be reading some of her work, starting with Atlas Shrugged, and will more than likely update this thead when done.

I'm happy the movie is finally coming out, but I can't see what you are saying.

I've read Atlas Shrugged over 20 times and loved it's messages.

What's wrong with the idea that those with talent and determination must not bow down to mediocrity?

If you read the book, you will actually see a perfect mirror to our current society hell bent on becoming the most lethargic and complacent animals in the world.

SPOILER=> book review

Yeah, that's all I've ever read.

This shouldn't be too surprising:

The book is a great one to read, but only for one who loves to read because it can be very grueling at times, yet some of the most important ideas are in the most grueling chapters

Don't be a shruggin' your upstanding civil and moral responsibilities.
Yeah sure. Tell it to Bush.
