Avatars

Am i able to upload an avatar thats on my PC or does it have to be on the net. because i have some avatars that i cant find on the net on my PC

They have to be uploaded. This board doesnt host peoples avatars. There are a few free web space sites available, however do not use tripod or geocities, as they do not allow remote linking to images.

I had an avatar showing yesterday, but it seems
to have disappeared? I linked to it on another
web site. Is that Wrong?

fortean...I went to where your avatar was located and it appears that the site owner has moved it. You best bet is to copy your picture and upload it on a hosting forum.I usually use villagephoto.

... they provide the same great service as mig.

if anyone uses the one echelon mentions --> mig.lathwoos.co.uk... after you upload the pic you copy and paste the second URL and just delete the '[IMG]' on both sides........
