My mom was recently looking into some pictures of Mars when she began to zoom in into the pictures and would find many strange, blurred out objects. I found it interesting so I began to look into it as well, then I came acrosse what appeared to me to be a crab-like object under some rocks. I saved this picture but I never really knew what to do with it because most of my friends just laughed when I showed them.

very interesting.. could be a crab? cI beleive crabs are very tough creatures and would have survived a major disaster... starred and flagged.

I agree, interesting find. I'd say its possible...they do tend to blur out a lot in the picures...

I think that i can see what you are referring to,something "hiding" in the shaded area, but without the benefit of a larger image,it is really hard to make out exactly what.

Any chance you could try and post a larger image?

Cheers.

Some questions:

1. Why would the crab hide.
2. What would it eat in that little "cave".
3. Where is the other animals that an evolution normaly produce.
4. Why isn't there any crab tracks outside the "cave"

PS: This is the same image as the egyptian statue.

Hi,

I have discovered a few oddities in the original image, which I have marked in red.

Thoughts?

I would agree a crab would want to stay in the light where it is warm. It is a cool picture, but the closeup doesn't show much.

Im sorry im not the best with picture editing, but i was able to mess around with the contrast and color. Here are some more pics. And Im not saying it has to be a crab, it just seems to resemble one because of the legs and how they seem to be pointy.

the crab that I can not see.. must be guarding the egyptian statue.. that I can not see.. makes perfect sense to me. If its in that cave there..its big enough to guard just about anything... whewwwwwww
