Remarkable symetry. There is much more too. Nice if people could post more of these coincidences. One of my personal favorites is the number 37's
relation to the number 3:
1+1+1=3 -- 3x37=111
2+2+2=6 -- 6x37=222
3+3+3=9 -- 9x37=333
4+4+4=12 -- 12x37=444
5+5+5=15 -- 15x37=555
6+6+6=18 -- 18x37=666
7+7+7=21 -- 21x37=777
8+8+8=24 -- 24x37=888
9+9+9=27 -- 27x37=999

Check out the symetry in spirals, and especially how the primes seem to move along certain curves. Amazing.

What about another simple and somewhat obvious one, the 11 x table?:
1x11=11 10x11=110
2x11=22 11x11=121
3x11=33 12x11=132
4x11=44 13x11=143
5x11=55 14x11=154
6x11=66 15x11=165
7x11=77 16x11=176
8x11=88 17x11=187
9x11=99 (...)
Yes, it is quite remarkable, but symmetry is an integral part of nature. This stuff should be taught at school, early. Good thread. Makes you wonder.

Yeah but we invented numbers, to count stuff, nature didn't.
We just find a numerical form in everything, because its how our being perceives things.

Honestly, I don't know the origin of numbers. There are groups of people who believe, literally, that all things are a number. Now, we can go deep
into this and discuss the digital theory of existence, et cetera, but I don't think that is where the OP intended this thread to go.
Symmetry is an important part of existence. People to think that things that are symmetrical are beautiful. There is a reason for this. It's not as
common as some of us would think. If you ever see someone you consider outstandingly "beautiful," take a hard look at them. Both sides of their face
are precisely even, which, honestly is uncommon. Most people, albeit very slight, do have some unevenness to their facial structure and such.

Numbers really are amazing. When I was a kid I used to look for patterns in numbers, even though I hated maths in school. I noticed that when you
looked at the numbers 1 to 9 on a phone (forget the zero) you notice that when you add the numbers up in either middle horizontal, middle vertical and
diagnally (a bit like the British flag) the numbers all added up to the same amount, 15. It's like there's a strong relationship between numbers
and shapes. The has to be a mathmatician on board the forum who can help explain such things?

It's based on the fact that we're using a base 10 system. If we were (like the Babylonians) using a Base 60 system, you'd see entirely different
patterns.

Actually, you would see the exact same patterns in base 6 as you do in base 10, only the numbers would be different. 3^2 using base10 is 9, while 3^2
in base six is 13, it would still be the same coordinate in let's say a spiral and the same shape geometrically. To a Babylonian 13 was a quadrate
number, and was the same as 9 today. In binaries or base 2 3^2 equals 1001

To quote Stephen Hawking:
What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe?
Indeed. What is it that makes the equations of physics and mathematics work and able to predict things in nature?
I am a realist. I believe that concepts like numbers and mathematics are preexistent.
Realism in logic and mathematics
Mathematical realism, like realism in general, holds that mathematical entities exist independently of the human mind. Thus humans do not invent
mathematics, but rather discover it, and any other intelligent beings in the universe would presumably do the same. In this point of view, there is
really one sort of mathematics that can be discovered: Triangles, for example, are real entities, not the creations of the human mind.
Many working mathematicians have been mathematical realists; they see themselves as discoverers of naturally occurring objects. Examples include Paul
Erdős and Kurt Gödel. Gödel believed in an objective mathematical reality that could be perceived in a manner analogous to sense perception.
Certain principles (e.g., for any two objects, there is a collection of objects consisting of precisely those two objects) could be directly seen to
be true

This is based on the fact that the first digit always increase by 1 and second digit always decrease by 2 (facts like this help with the "speed

There are many beautiful examples of symmetry in mathematics and nature.
Take mandelbrot set for instance.
This was created from a simple equation z = z^2 + c

Here's a couple of biblical examples:
Ancient Hebrews calculated Pi through dividing the numbers of letters in their alef-bet by the number of "mother-consonants" or
--- 22/7≈∏
In the Book of Revelation Phi is hidden atleast two places. If you take the number of days during the 3.5 year tribulation, 1260, and dividing it by
777, a number often connected to Jesus and God, and you get roughly phi or the golden number.
--- 1260/777≈φ.
The other way is to divide the number of days in a prophetic year of 360 days and divide it by 222.
---360/222≈φ
Then of course there is the number of the Beast, 666. There are many ways to calculate this number. Add the numbers between 1 and 36:
-- 1+2+3+...+36=666.
Or by adding the Roman numerals from I to D:
-- I+V+X+L+C+D=666
...
-- 360(777/666)=420=14x30=7x2x3x2x5=1260/3
1+1+1=3 -- 3x37=111
2+2+2=6 -- 6x37=222
3+3+3=9 -- 9x37=333
4+4+4=12 -- 12x37=444
5+5+5=15 -- 15x37=555
6+6+6=18 -- 18x37=666
7+7+7=21 -- 21x37=777
8+8+8=24 -- 24x37=888
9+9+9=27 -- 27x37=999

Or how about finding phi in our own solar system. Venus revolves around the Sun in about 584 Earth days, divide that by the generic solar year which
is a round estimate of the Earth year, or 360. Divide 584 by 360 and you get roughly phi φ.
And on our bodies: The belly button is placed in the golden proportion of our full height. The same can be said about the elbow. And sitting straight
up on your knees, measure your height, multiply it by φ and you have your total height. And these proportions are found everywhere from the deepest
deep of the universe to cellular structures. The famed Fibonacci sequence -1,1,2,3,5,8,13... and so on into eternity always adding the former number
in the sequence to n one would border φ.
Or if you draw a straight angled triangle where the base is two and the height is 1, using Pythagoras the hypotenus is √5. Now to divide the
baseline in the golden ratio or proportion, you do as follows: set your pair of compasses at the crossing between the shortest katet and the hypotenus
and draw a circle going through the 90º angle, dividing the hypotenus in 1 and √5-1. Now set your compasses in the sharpest angle measure the
distance up to where your circle crossed the hypotenus. Now draw a circle and voila, you have divided the baseline according to the golden ratio,
which is φ-1, with φ being (√5+1)/2 or 1,618033989.... You can use this method to construct a perfect pentagram with nothing but a set square and
a pair of compasses.
Edit: oh, and I forgot...
1/φ=φ-1
φxφ=φ+1

If you add the squares of the first seven primes, you get 666
2^2+3^2+5^2+7^2+11^2+13^2+17^2
or 4+9+25+49+121+169+289=666
Another palindrome is as follows:
1^3+2^3+3^3+4^3+5^3+6^3+5^3+4^3+3^3+2^3+1^3=666
180/111
=360/222
=540/333
=720/444
=900/555
=1080/666
=1260/777
=1440/888
=1620/999
≈φ

July 23rd 7-23 7x23 = 161 On July 23rd there are exactly 161 days left in the year or 23 weeks.
August 17th 8-17 8x17= 136 On August 17th there are exactly 136 days left in the year or 19 weeks and 3 days.
This info would be a lot more interesting if there was some kind of solar or lunar correlation but there is not (to my knowledge). The dates are 25
days apart and the only two days that mathematical produce their remainder on the calendar.

Just found another:
22/7
=242/77
=2442/777
=24442/7777
=244442/77777
≈∏
And like my sig says, 2441/777 equals pi to four decimals

To Neo-Christian Mystic and others,
Thanks for the math fun. Have you explored Simple(74) English(74) Gematria(74)? 'Gematria' is the Greek word for
geometry (Spanish: geomatria) and is commonly defined as the (ancient) practice of pairing between a number and a letter, word, or phrase and
vice-versa with there being a strong symbolic meaning. The three languages of monotheistic scripture - Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic - are all
alphanumeric. They predate the invention of the Indian-Arabic numerals that are now globally accepted. Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic letters
also represented numerals, i.e. first 10 letters=1-10, 11=20, 12=30, 13=40, etc. Although English evolved after the acceptance of our numeric system,
there is a stronger, simpler gematria present in English, whereas:
A=1 B2 C3 D4 E5 F6 G7 H8 I9 J10 K11 L12 M13 N14 O=15 or zerO P16 Q17 R18 S19 T20 U21 V22 W23 X24 Y25 Z26
Besides the 'coincidence' that Simple=74, English=74, and Gematria=74, pairing=74, between=74, a number=74 , consider that GOD=7_4,
religion=74, Judeans=74, Jewish=74, Yaakov=74 (Jacob), menorah=74, "mene mene"=74, Jesus=74 (Y'shua=74, Joshua=74, Iesous=73, IESVS=74),
Messiah=74, donkey=74, Cross=74, Mariamne=74 (Greek: Mary Magdalean), parables=74, Gospel=74. preacher=74, pastor=74, Muhammad=74, Al Quds=74
(Arabic: Jerusalem). In science, everything is energy, and chaos theory tells us that all the parts of a system are connected and
the information at the initial point of measurement is crucial. Well, energy=74, parts=74, element=74, connect=74, initial=74, point=74, program
1=74.
Scholars seem to agree that the earliest example of gematria usage was by Assyrian Ruler Sargon II (727-707 BC). 'Coincidentally', Sargon=74,
ruler=74, the king=74. Grand Master Masons encoded July 4, 1776 with GOD=7_4, Jesus'(74) Birthday of 4/17/6 BC or 17/4/747 AUC
(since the founding of Roma[47]), and 50 cubits(74) = 74 feet if one cubit = 17.76 inches (7/4/1776).
Why all the repeated(74) uses of 7_4 / 74? I presented a one-page-paper/poster at the NASA Conference Missions for Exoplanets: 2010-2020 in
April 2009 in Pasadena, CA entitled: Identifying 'True Earth-like Planets' - All New Worlds Are Built on 7_4 (like Earth) or 6_4. It can be

I personally favor the Divine Order. The more I see it is disproved, the more I see its evidence. At times I feel all existence can be broken down
into a binary code, and what looks to us as infinitesimal analog gradient is discreet digital steps. They say it can be done with any text, so why do
they say it cannot be done with the Bible? Or am I the only one witness to this foolishness?

Divine ordonance.... does it ever evolve?
Every letter, syllable and word in the holy books (and for some it is Moby Dick or Hamlet) is weighed and with a little nifty use of algoritms and els
editing of the not yet printed text you can not only "predict", but code. Its rather simple actuallly....
