There is a belief that many of the moons/asteroids in the Solar System are alien bases! Few may have ventured beyond the moons of Saturn and seen the
most puzzling moon of Uranus - Miranda. But before we go there let’s have a peek at a strange structure on Eros taken by the NEAR probe. Is it a
natural feature?
Eros
Note that Eros is a Mars-crosser asteroid and was the first asteroid that was known to come within the orbit of Mars. Once again we have something to
do with Mars!! Was there a connection?
Courtesy: NASA/JPL
Now let's see what it probably resembles:
Enlarged...
Considering the shadows and contour, this is what comes up by deduction through computer simulation...

Yves Vaillancourt
Miranda
Miranda is the smallest and innermost of Uranus' five major moons. Here are a couple of pics that shows it to be one strange object orbiting
Uranus....
Courtesy: Astrosociety
Notice the domed objects over the surface having distinct
shadows underneath giving the impression of structures made
above surface level.
Now check out the shiny rectangular structure in the middle of the three formations in the image below:
It is 16 km in height and about 4 km in width!! Can this geometric structure be a natural formation? Or is it something else? Shades of Arthur
C Clarke's Monolith, what? But this one is gigantic!!
Sourced from: Astrosociety
By the way, on January 31, 2012, Eros is expected to pass Earth at 0.179 astronomical units (16.6 million miles) with a visual magnitude of
+8.5. Hope it stays away!!
Cheers!

That gravity part sounds fun - so i wonder, if it takes 5 minutes to fall off a cliff on Miranda due to weak gravity would the impact still be as
hard?... hmmmm.
Very interesting stuff as always Mike! keep it up

Amazing, for once mike it does look as if you have found something interesting. In the first picture it does appear that there is some sort of
structure in the crater!
I disagree with the computer simulation of the picture, I would picture the "roof" to be more rounded. However it does look quite out of place.
Perhaps the "tunnel" or "entrance" could in fact go down and instead be a "hallway" into the moon itself.
Heck I won't even go into the obvious Uranus jokes about the second part to your post. While I don't see what you see in that picture, the first
picture does have me guessing as to what the heck that could be.

Excellent find mike!
Is it possible that 'we' are involved in these structures? Or do you suppose that they are run by off worlders?
Also are these types of bases the reason why full disclosure may not happen?

Here are some more strange features. Do you notice what look like similar shaped monoliths which I've marked in yellow?
A crop and enhancement of the area toward the right to show some of them more clearly.
If you look carefully you'll notice they stand out due to their shine and seem to be rectangular and of similar size! Needless to say, they may be
just rocks unless proved to be otherwise!
Seems as though Miranda is teeming with monoliths! Looks like an alien outpost with a communication matrix!
Cheers!

first i would like to say good find, very reminiscent of richard c. hoaglands pictures of the supposed non-existent anomylies of mars ive found that
certain things always pop-up when concerned with anomylies of planets a major one being the connection with 19.5degrees- coincidentally the position
on the earth where u would find the great pyramid of egypt, not to mention if you look where the roswell incident took place in new mexico also at
19.5 degrees, the only other place on earth other than the oceans where u can touch land at that latitude, if u look at the indiginous peoples of the
world and their beliefs you find a theme that makes these "coincidences" feel more than just that, native american tradition even states that there
are 13planets in this solar system that hold or have held human civilization on, and in a world where nearly everyday the rules of what is possible
are constantly being pushed back personally im inclined to believe them, when all possible "logical" explanations fail to satisfy as an explanation,
then surely the only possible answer has to be the "illogical" and therefore the impossible. keep looking folks, theres a lot more out there to
find,
peace and love

Nice work Mike. Flag and star for you!
I always find your threads highly interesting, and this one looks no different!
One question though.
Where do you find the time to trawl through all these images, looking for anomalies?

that second photo is amazing! nice find.
wow.
i realize that 45 and 90 degree angles exist in nature but this definitely wreaks of structure. great find! (what's up with all the hate?) mike is a
significant contributor here at ats, and posts some very engaging materials.
thanks mike.

Those domed structures are absolutely amazing! I've never seen anything like that in nature (Other than mushrooms of course).
I don't have anything really useful to add other than support though, keep up the good work Mike, your threads always have my jaw hitting the
floor!

Dude.....you dont need to quote an entire post like that just to reply to it. Use the "reply to" button instead.
Anyhow, very interesting find Mike. It will be difficult to explain that first example away as simply being a natural formation (though I have no
doubt many will try).
Thanks for the heads up Mike.

Heck! That's one of the reasons my wife's threatening divorce!! So I've promised her a trip to Paris! No joking. I'll be off ATS from
23rd Jul for about a fortnight. Now I can't claim expenses including air fare from ATS, (Which is responsible for this mess!! Lol! ), can I? Anyways,
lemme try and charm Springer to throw something into the hat!! Anything for a good cause, what?
Cheers!

Perhaps the Terrapapers are more fact than fiction. There seems to be many such
structures in our solar system.
Good thread

Meh. Its just maintanance and fuel stations for passing interstellar craft. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I have a question; why do those highlighted supposed structures all look the same, kind of looks like copies of each other someone made up. Otherwise
very interesting indeed!

Reply to Kaifan:
Somewhere out there extraterrestrials are laughing for us admiring their maintanance stations...
"Look at that smoke in the distance John! Do you think there could be another village than ours in this world?"
"Naw, that theory has been debunked several times".

I wonder if we can get some Martian cigarettes there!!!
Seems like they have more fuel stations than we have McDonnell's.
Uh um seriously if the terrapappers are correct these would most likely be the remains of mines or building relating to refining raw materials.
they sort of remind me of what quarry buildings look like from above. Just much more massive
