Well, I think you and KarlH would get along, you are both Duck fans.. (gagging)

Speaker I tend to think of you as sort of a "Been there, Done that" type. You've asked questions, looked for answers, came to some solid conclusions and now your mind is made up. But you still wonder...

You'll give your opinion, if asked, but you really don't care what anyone else thinks unless their ideas are somewhat novel to you.

I enjoyed your's and Dr. Strangecraft's posts so much, I just had to sign up to ATS.

That's what they tell me anyway. I haven't had any of my fingerpainting in a gallery though.

you were dead on about the thinker part and i love looking at different philosophies. But I have had a steady GF for about 10 months but i guess i would think the same thing about someone who had a gandalf avatar

Nice work

Sky! This thread is hilarious. I picture you on a boat, Italian, black hair, writing and mult-itasking between meditating. I see you as living mostly in the mind, but taking breaks to enjoy the beauty around you. I see you moving from once place to the next. I sense some sadness in your childhood. I imagine you as very attractive, kind, calm. I think you need a dog. One that lays at your feet while you type and read

No boat. Guess I could act an italian. Yes, living in the mind. Yes multi-tasking. Yes, looking around to enjoy the beauty. Yes, moving. Yes sadness in childhood...but not fault of parents. Yes, attractive, calm. No, I wont have animals.

No. You must have misunderstood something. "easily enthused" means its easy to excite you on various subjects ATS has to offer. You come across as being eager to participate. And thats a good thing.

karlhungis,

The first time I saw your username, without reading any of your posts, I thought you were boastful and full of yourself. My mind can't help but rearrange those last two letters in your name and put them in the middle. I may get ripped for thinking that, but that's just how my mind works.

However, after reading some of your posts, I don't get that impression at all.

asala---I love your avatar. It's fun and playful, so I think you must be also. I think you are female.

Benevolent Heratic---I love your avatar also. I can tell you are an animal lover, so you must be kind and compassionate. I think you are male.

Because animals can't travel around with you? Or because you don't want them to depend on you? Or you don't think it's right to have animals?

I changed my avatar! LOL Still my dogs, though. I am female. However, I have a very "strong" personality and I would say I'm "in touch" with my male side. Many people have thought I was a male on this board.

I think you're avatar is very cute. I think you're a girl (although that could be wrong), but I think you're pretty young and slight of build. Kind of shy, and have big dreams...

Because I love being alone, undivided attention. And if I ever divide my attention then humans are first. Im not an animal fan (exception: dolphins).

Did you ever see the Buffy with the invisible girl? That's what I think of when I see your avatar. Do you play the flute? Feel like people don't notice you? Are you female? Do you know Buffy the Vampire Slayer???

You seem quiet and thoughtful, shy and easily embarrassed.
(Sorry, I don't have anything to base this on, I'm just having fun "guessing"!)

I had always assumed Skyfloating to be an older gentleman, very worldy and knowledgeable. For some reason I always pictured a Hemmingway type of figure. Looks like I was way off...lolz.

I love these little social experiments, says a lot about perception and how our own minds correlate personality and posting types to physical make ups etc.

Very cool thread Karl....and I have always loved your No Country avatar. One of the best characters ever.

Oh, and take a look at some of the BTS threads with actual member photos. The actual faces never cease to amaze me, usually I find that I am way off on my assumptions.

Cheers
