Male,
Early 30's
Profession - dentist
Likes cats - no - you're a dog lover (ironic)
Ginger hair
Moderate in taste and dress sense
Pubbing but not clubbing
Blondes but not brunettes

Of course, a cat shooting out of a window is a little difficult to go by -

Judging by your last performance - you could work in a building with 5 sides

Why thank you very much! I picked it b/c my husband said it looked like me....I guess if I piled on the make up and got some fancy duds on we might could re-create it!
wow!, the best I could do is Terry Bradshaw. I've been told a thousand times I could be his twin.. I still haven't decide though whether to take it as an insult or a compliment..

Thanks for the kind words.
Live in a top 20 city but work in a rural county
Only young at heart and got the aches and pains to prove it
Always looking for a way up the ladder
Terribly protective, but not smothering
Can't stand to have people do anything for me, but I am a construction supervisor.
Good Job!
There is more to the avatar, though.
Anybody else?

What is a "Mystic Meg"?

It is a loose term for someone (preferably a female) that is into the spiritual side of their being - thats what I perceived from your avatar.

It is a positive thing.

The OPs original premise that people judge others based on their avatars is exactly why I don't have one. A smaller reason would be because I believe they are a waste of bandwidth(I come from the 300 baud modem days).

Hmmm...maybe that is what was meant by Whiteraven saying that I may be having difficulies with a close relationship.....I am a Christian, and although I do not doubt my beliefs, I am stuggling with my "walk" if that makes any sense what so ever...

Terry Bradshaw isn't a bad looking man....now if you tell me your personality is like his, we might have a problem

He kinda seems like a spaz!

Maybe the 'walk' that you take is less important than the path that you choose?

What does 5 sides mean?

You were so close with your assessment of me (without an avatar) that I jokingly assumed that you worked for the Pentagon!

My bad.

That was funny.
Don't be hard on yourself, I'm usually well lit by now myself.

Also, as 6:00a.m. is coming quick, the reason for the sniper kitty is that he represents us on ATS, that is to say we hide in anonimity, picking and choosing our shots, and I also like the paradoxical nature of a warm fuzzy kitten with a high powered weapon.
"
'night all, most fun thread I've been on since joining,
Thanks

Here's some food for thought:

At the time I'm posting this, this topic has close to 15 full pages of replies and 18 flags, and this topic has 42 flags, yet only about 1½ pages of replies.

What is one to make of this?

Nice thread Karl........you are well.........hungis. At least at starting great threads and inspriing lively discussions.

To me, Avatars are like the "Vanity Plates" of a Forum.
We want to stand out as if to say:
"Hey look at me, I am unique" - Just like everybody else.

Great topic. Enjoying it.

regards....kk

I always think of the members who write well and keep their composure to be attravtive people. Same goes for respectfulness. Oh, and those that are comical and witty always come across as young and attractive. It's kind of weird how that works. Of course there is always exceptions but generally that is how I categorize memebers.
