Coordinates are determined by a process known as
carto-sine-triangulation.
(Carto-signing is the name we have given to waving one's hand over a map to locate coordinates. It sounds better than hand dowsing. Whereas carto-sine-triangulation refers more to the psychic sine wave that emanates into the remote viewers mind from using the map as a tool of determining location.)

The GEB remote viewers worked with a large map of Afghanistan
and surrounding regions and performed a kind of dowsing by open palm of hand.
(Some of us remote viewers have been hired by oil and mining companies (and individual prospectors) to hand dowse for oil and gold with some success.) This is how we get our funding for research.

3 teams of 3 members each get a turn at the same map.
One -at-a-time, each remote viewer goes into the viewing room where an extremely large typographic map is laid out on a table. In seclusion, each remote viewer has as much time as they need to perform the carto-signing without the knowledge of the other remote viewers. It is obviosly forbidden to mark the table map in any way.
When one of the members hits a hot spot so to speak he or she marks
it on their own private notepad map. The next remote viewer without knowing the results of the previous hand scan does a full regional dowse and marks it privately too. This process is repeated one more time to complete the set of three.

There are 3 teams of 3 remote viewers.
Two more sets of 3 remote viewers repeat the process without
revealing individual results.

Next each team together marks the results on a map.
The coordinates must be within 33.3 miles of each other
otherwise the remote viewing is considered invalid.
In this case the coordinates of each team were within this parameter.


Finally the results of all 3 teams are marked on the map and this resulted in a small triangle of only dozen or so square miles.

Next a map of only the dozen square miles is blown up and the process
with the 3 teams is repeated. The second time it was narrowed down to
5 miles. Then the map of the 5 miles is blown up and the process was
repeated to give the exact location.

Satellite data revealed the caves and beehive mud ovens.
Intel revealed the dominating warlord in the area.

Personally I'd stay far away from this kind of stuff. It's about as demonic as you can get.

Nor is it surprising that things like remote viewing are increasingly being accepted in these last days.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons " (I Timothy 4: 1).

The fact that no one wants to hear is that there is no such thing as spiritually neutral technology. It's either of God or of the devil. Since most people don't really want to hear what God is saying, I'd have to believe most of this stuff is from the dark side.

It's a shame so many people suffer from mental poverty.
They are afraid of the creative and expansive power of the luminous
mind. The mind is so much more powerful than what is taught.
Einstein spoke about this capacity.

People obsessed with what is demonic are themselves demons.
They are usually of a negative state of mind, joyless and fearful.
Just like Republican politicians obsessed with outlawing gays
end up being closet homosexuals themselves.
You are what you obsess on otherwise why think about it.

If a person doesn't have the capacity to realize the unlimited mind
than yes please stay away.

Those who are of limited capacity and fearful of the unlimited mind
of luminosity should stay away and go and rearrange the flowers
in church or help out at a church picnic.
However do not bother to send quotes from the Bible as I've read it and pretty much agree with George Carlin's take on it.

Just to say that this
group has gone so far beyond the likes of Ed Dames who lacks the courage and acute sensibilities to do this.

Bin laden is dead. He's been dead since december, 2001. all the "bin-ladens" you've seen since were fakes, except for the file footage of OBL before he died. And, if your group were ultra top-secret, I doubt you'd know about it, or would be POSTING IT ON THE INTERNET.
